We recently stayed at Fattoria (Farm) Borgonuovo for four nights and it quickly became one of our favorite memories from Tuscany. This is a genuine three-generation family business: a mother, her son and his wife, and their two children, all living on-site. The property was originally the late grandparents’ home, and grandson Marcus spent five dedicated years thoughtfully converting the old stables into three lovely living quarters for travelers. Everything feels personal and cared for because the family handles the cleaning and maintenance themselves. There’s a convenient game room near the check-in area where you can relax or drop your luggage if you arrive early. We did exactly that, and our first-floor room was already ready and welcoming when we pulled up — a wonderful surprise! We chose Fattoria Borgonuovo for its reliable air conditioning (mini-split units), easy first-floor access, free parking, peaceful rural location, and proximity to Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, and other beautiful towns. The countryside views are stunning. We especially loved the beautiful arched windows and doors that we could open wide for sunlight, fresh breezes, and that wonderful connection to the outdoors. The bed was comfortable, the internet worked well enough, and the whole place radiated warm Tuscan hospitality. We highly recommend Fattoria Borgonuovo to couples and families alike. Staying here felt like being welcomed into a real family home rather than just another vacation rental. A big thank you to Marcus and the entire family.

Super clean, lovely apartments. Stayed here with three couples and had the whole place to our selves.

Great quiet place with a good view around the countryside of tuscany. Great base to visit southern tuscany and Northern umbria. Hospitality is great. Accommodation is clean and has everything . And a pool to cool off

Little sidenode: water in the sink doesn’t dispose water very wel.
