Hotel Hospitz

It is a very charming hotel & you feel like you step back in time from the first step you take into the hotel. But you also do not miss the comfort that you are used to nowadays. Breakfast is good & the view from the breakfast room is very nice. The location is perfect if you want to for example explore Olavinlinna Castle.

Be aware that there is no elevator

Ottima posizione, bellissima vista dalla camera sul lago (piano alto). Si può raggiungere tutti i punti di interesse a piedi in pochi minuti. Personale gentile e disponibile, atmosfera piacevole. Stanza per la colazione bellissima.

Forse qualche piccolo ammodernamento andrebbre fatto, ma senza stravolgere troppo.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hospitz. This beautiful 1930s building has a lovely quirky character and plenty of old-world charm that makes it feel special. The location is excellent, right by the lake, just a short stroll from Olavinlinna Castle and the town centre. We loved the peaceful lakeside setting and how convenient everything was. The hotel is a little old-fashioned and could benefit from some refurbishment, but the rooms were still comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere made our visit very pleasant. We would happily return for the great location and unique historic feel.

seems the ground floor there are rooms which allow dogs, lots of noise of dog which was left alone, had we known this....
