Caruso Place Luxury Rooms & Suites

We were close to the city center and felt safe in this area. The room was exactly what we needed, we had to leave earlier than breakfast was served so we did not get to enjoy.

I did not realize that I only clicked one guest when booking this so when I arrived at the location I was charged more for my husband being with me. I felt the price for this room was a little high, we only needed it for one night.

We had to stay in Naples 1 night to catch a flight, this was a great location because it is just across the street from the Galleria and right in the midst of a good section of town for walking and exploring the restaurants, bars and pastry shoppes. The location is safe and secure. The room size was large and included a sitting area and balcony overlooking the livley street below. There were an additional set of doors to close across the balcony at night to keep out the light and noise.

It was not easy to locate. The taxi can not drive up to the door so we were dropped up the road with a finger point in the general direction to walk. There is more than one location to enter for this property. We entered the wrong one and were unsuccessful in using whats app to contact them and were repeatedly "disconnected" when we placed more than one phone calls to the number that was provided. I finally banged on the door of the location we had entered and we did find and a nice staff member who helped us get connected with the check in staff and guided us over to the other location which we never would have found (see photo for the door to look for). The property is secure with a pass code to unlock the exterior door to get in to the property. I did not have great luck with this system but it did work after a few trys. Be aware there is no elevator but they are happy to help with your bags. The room was clean, the bed was quite firm ( if you like that) There is breakfast if you wish at the cost of 29 euros pp. Bottom line it is a safe and convenient location fir a short stay.

Location, staff, amenities

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated their attitude during our stay. We had chosen the property mainly because we wanted to stay in the very centre of Naples, so in terms of the general location it initially seemed like a good choice.

Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations. The recommended parking was completely unsuitable for our SUV, and while the car was being parked there, it was even scratched, which obviously left a very unpleasant impression. Access to the property was also extremely difficult because of ongoing construction works in the street. At times, getting there was uncomfortable even on foot, despite the fact that we had specifically chosen the accommodation because we wanted an easy city-centre stay. We also personally did not feel particularly comfortable in the immediate surroundings, especially travelling as a family with our daughters. After the first night we informed the property that we were unhappy and would leave the following day, although we had paid for two nights. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to discuss any form of compensation for the unused night. The staff themselves were pleasant, but overall the combination of difficult access, parking problems and our experience with the location meant that we left with a rather disappointing impression.
