Hotel Silva

After searching via Booking, I made three reservations for this hotel; and one was for a two-night stay for a colleague and myself, as we were there on business. The hotel met our expectations. It is located in the academic district, just a five-minute walk from the West University of Timișoara—which was very convenient for us, as we were attending a conference there. If you are visiting the University of Timișoara for work, we highly recommend this hotel. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood, and there is parking available right in front. It is a 20–25 minute walk to the city centre, making it a good location for sightseeing as well. Although I initially booked a twin room for two nights, followed by a family room for another two nights (as my family was joining me), the staff arranged things so that I didn't have to change rooms or move my luggage after the first two nights. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and they fulfilled all our requests. The rooms were spotless, absolutely perfect, spacious, and looked exactly like the photos; the same is related to the bathroom. Breakfast was nice, tasteful and matched the hotel's star rating. While the selection didn't vary much day to day, there was enough variety for everyone to find a combination that suited their tastes. One detail worth noting: you order your coffee and the staff brings it to you; there is no self-service coffee machine. Overall, my impression was excellent, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Although there is a small waste bin in the bathroom, there isn't one in the room itself, which is inconvenient if you have a large, empty water bottle to throw away. I would suggest adding trash bins to the room as well.

I booked the hotel for a colleague and her daughter. A colleague was travelling for work. Her impression is that the hotel met her expectations and deserves the highest rating.
