It had a nice beach and the staff were great.

The hotel was dated. There was no fridge with bottled water in the room, no coffee maker, no iron. The windows were single pane glass so all the noise from the three bars were heard in the room. There were also younger guests carrying personal boom boxes to the pools to play thier owm music louder than the bar music. We had 2 nights with parties in the room next to us that the hotel had to break up after 3:00 am and then we had people knocking on our door looking for the party. There were more than 20 people in the room at the party. The party guests then walked in the halls yelling back and forth to each other. These guest left and the next night we were next to a guest that left thier tv on very loud (we could hear the words in our room) all night. So 3 of the 6 nights with very little sleep. There is no shuttle back and forth to town if you want to shop. The food was ok but not great. This was the worst all inclusive we have ever stayed at.

Booking of the a la carte restaurants and having to pre-book meals.

A very nice place. Our room was comfy, and close to the pool. The staff is very professional, especially, Paola from the Decameron Explorer desk. We really enjoyed our vacation.

A language barrier. Most staff doesn't speak English. Luckily, I now a little Spanish, so we didn't have much problem

when the food was in its proper place it was very very good massive selection and great quality The staff were excellent and the cleanliness' was also excellent The rooms were well serviced and towels were plentiful

When we arrived it was lucky our eldest son was fluent in Spanish as very few of the staff spoke any English and when they did it was broken. When myself and wife had issues the staff at reception just said no English and ignored us. During the stay the food was transferred to the "Yacht club" where the quantity and variety went down hill quickly. The fact that according to information which was all in Spanish? until we asked for and received a badly printed translation, there was a disco until 2pm, which they did not have at all, every thing closed at 11pm. If it wasn't for the bar tenders giving us some extra drinks as they left that was the end of the day. The venue was quite small and was not really a place for 8 days more like a long weekend as there was very little entertainment. The brochure gave the impression of several table tennis tables for example but there was only 1. 1 pool table, 1 bar football table the beach activities were there but packed away as if not for use. The red flags for the sea were up every day for most if not all of the day

Limited opening hours of bars, to get hot water to prepare the milk for our baby sometimes we were sent to the other end of the hotel to the buffet area, instead of getting hot water to the room. Rooms are clean, but equipment corresponds to max 3* Free Internet only in the lobby. If you buy additional internet also doesn't work in several places of the hotel, eg in the restaurant. For a hotel that exensive, its a real shame internet isn't included free of charge everywhere and on topnof that doesnt work properly everywhere The price for the hotel is far too expensive for what you get

The restaurant staff was friendly as well as housekeeping

The front desk staff was rude and ignorant I had to pay $30 for a bracelet fell off my arm while I was in the ocean because of a wave that is absolutely ridiculous! We were supposed to have an ocean view but the only thing we can see was Palm Trees from my room. No coffee makerNo fridge lukewarm hot tub no real view of the sunset had to walk a mile before we could get a spot where we could see it through a residential area. It was the best a two star hotel or a five star price

The staff was well prepared and knowledgeable - they answered all my questions and were helpful if we had questions about the location. The food was excellent and the pool / beach very clean and well maintained.

Nothing that can be done about this, unfortunately due to current situation some amenities were closed and the rules around it are limiting but hopefully the world situation changes and these rules are relaxed.
