Our stay here was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. We travelled as a family of four, with our two boys aged 15 and 10, and all four of us absolutely loved it. Our house was charming and peaceful, and the jacuzzi overlooking to the forest was one of my favourite moments, such a wonderful place to relax and disconnect. The beach is only about a 5-minute walk away. You only need to swim a few metres to see so many colourful tropical fish, making it a lovely and very easy spot for snorkelling, but also simply for swimming and enjoying the sea. Miyakojima itself is breathtaking. We rented a car and discovered beautiful beach after beautiful beach, incredible snorkelling spots with coral and tropical fish, and completely different landscapes around the island, from paradise beaches to powerful waves near the lighthouse. What made our stay truly special, however, was the people. The entire team was incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive. Our youngest son has coeliac disease and must follow a strict gluten-free diet, and the Chef and his team went out of their way to prepare special meals for him. We cannot thank them enough for the care they took. The food was excellent, especially the wonderfully fresh fish, and our son absolutely loved making his own sushi. A huge thank you to the whole team, and especially to Moana and the Chef, for making us feel so welcome and cared for. We genuinely felt like we were in paradise. It was one of those rare holidays that stays in your heart long after you leave. We came home with beautiful memories and enormous gratitude. Thank you for everything!

The only thing we would have loved was the option to have lunch at the hotel as well. Lunch is available at other hotels within the resort, but having a lunch buffet here would be wonderful, especially on days when you simply want to relax and stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the buffet so much that we would have happily had it for lunch too.

The moment we arrived, staff was extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. Staff was professional and friendly helping us flawlessly with the checkin process. Everything felt very personalized and anytime we needed assistance, staff went above and beyond! Rooms were spacious!

Not sure if it was because of the typhoon days prior to our arrival, but there was a lot of broken glass on the beach.

The property was next to a beautiful nature preserve and walk. Across the road is açai and donuts. Parking was always open and the area is beautiful. The staff were so accommodating and the little robot was so cute.
