Vast, open spaces, can go for long walks along the Fleuve Saint-Laurent shore. Felt safe as a solo female traveller. Private external entrance and private bathroom. Gabrielle, the cleaning lady does a wonderful job cleaning the rooms. Upon my arrival the room and shared showers ( 2 for 7 cabins) were spotless. She is very personable and gave me some great tips for hikes around the property and about some of the history of the place :) Great location to watch the famous Bas Saint-Laurent sunsets. It is within a short drive (approx. 15 mins) of Rimouski heading north or Le Bic National Park (a stunning park) heading south on hwy 132.

Little to no ventilation in the cabins. The main window does not open. The little one above it does, which is great and it has mosquito netting. However, unless there's a breeze, it can start to feel stuffy and if it's a hot summer night, which it was on one of the three nights of my stay, it can become uncomfortable(thus, bring a portable fan). If you sleep with the window open and are a light sleeper and because there is no fan or a/c in the room to create white noise, there is some audible road noise generated by hwy 132 that can be heard from the south facing cabins.
