Parkhotel Bad Faulenbach

We really enjoyed our stay at Parkhotel Bad Faulenbach and especially appreciated the peaceful surroundings. We were given a room at the end of the hallway, which was very spacious and had many windows, so it felt bright and comfortable. The room was also very clean, and the refrigerator worked properly. Our balcony faced the garden, which was particularly nice because it felt almost like having a private garden, with no one else around. The location is excellent. The hotel is in a very calm and quiet area, right near the park. It is especially convenient for guests travelling with dogs, as there is plenty of nature and space for walking nearby. The breakfast was quite good, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We also really appreciated that the hotel provided plenty of toilet paper and tissues — more than enough for our five-day stay. One of the highlights for us was the café in front of the hotel. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We tried the goulash soup, pork belly, and Mohn cake, and everything was really tasty. Unfortunately, it seems that not many people know about this place, which may be why it is only open for a limited time. We would definitely recommend giving it a try if it is open during your stay.

There were, however, a few things that could be improved. Because our room was on the ground floor and very spacious, it became quite cold, especially since the heating did not seem to work properly. The hot water in the bathroom was also inconsistent — it was available in the morning and evening, but there was no warm water around noon. The WiFi connection was also a bit weak. The breakfast could also be a little more creative, especially for guests staying several days. A bit more variety would make the experience even better.

Our room was spacious and had a balcony which was lovely. Lovely quiet area, 10- 15 minutes walk into town.

My preference, but for me the mattress could have been a bit firmer and couple more pillows Apart from that, everything else was exceptional

Nice location

Limited opening times for breakfast and no way to contact hotel staff outside reception hours. We wanted to leave by 7:30 but not really possible as hotel only opens by 8:00
