Aktaion Resort

We really enjoyed our stay in one of the bungalows. Everything was great, from start to finish we had no complaints ; the entire staff from reception to housekeeping is very friendly and helpful. This is lovely well- designed resort in an excellent location with a clean beach and all the grounds are well-maintained. Breakfast buffet is a delight! We had a good dinner here- sadly only one time due to late season as lunch and dinner service ends in Oct.

The only things I would have liked to see differently are improvements to the bathroom: the shower head bar holder is placed in such an awkward spot that I bumped my head on it twice. The knob to turn on the shower head is small and hard to grip especially if your hands are arthritic and/ or wet. There should be a safety grip bar inside the tub area to help getting in and out of the tub plus placing a non-skid mat next to or inside the tub would be good. That’s the only issue but we managed just fine and it’s not enough to prevent us from returning!

We spent a whole week and enjoyed everything

Ok, the rooms are somewhat dark

The pool area was lovely and the restaurant was good too. The breakfast included was very elaborate.

All good.

Beautiful property. Bungalow was large, clean & comfortable. Pool & beach were both lovely. All interactions with staff were positive. Breakfast was varied & plentiful. Gytheio only a few minutes drive away.
