Caves is a beautifully kept heritage hotel and it is a pleasure to stay there. Having french doors opening onto the balcony where you can look down over the beautiful gardens to the ocean, and relax with a book on the recliners is lovely.

Classic old property with heaps of character. Fantastic gardens.
Loved that the pub was downstairs from accommodation.
Rooms are dated but are clean and functional with good bathrooms so it doesn’t matter.

Best location, restaurant on site, grocery store on site, big size of the apartment, cleanliness, appliances (stove, microwave, fridge, washer and dryer)
Bed was a bit too hard.
Couch was too soft, it sinks in too far and is not comfortable.

Location, food, service .
No door between bedroom and bathroom/toilet. Yuk.
Shower in bath. Very dangerous as we were over 70 and getting in and out a problem when water was spilling into floor. Accident waiting to happen
