Extraordinarily good value. Rooms had been very tastefully done in a house opposite the auberge. They were comfortable and quite big enough. Bed was comfortable too. The owner was very welcoming and spoke English well. Breakfast was what you would expect in an auberge in France, but the evening meals were excellent - good variety and tasty. The dining room was lovely, with views out to the river at the back.
I arrived at about 4.30 pm to be confronted with a notice saying that the Auberge was closed until 6, but to phone for access to my accommodation. However, when I first tried there was no mobile reception. Fortunately, after going for a short exploratory walk, there was reception and I was checked in.

Äußerst freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Garage für Motorrad wäre möglich gewesen. Hervorragendes Bier "Bon Secours"

Very clean, comfortable bed
The riverside terrace is not open all day for guests.
The rooms are in a separate building away from the riverside location.
