The apartment is very centrally located and has a balcony overlooking a lovely square. The self-check-in process was convenient.
The oversized artwork in the room was rather kitsch and dominated the space. Although the building is historic, it has lost much of its original charm after being converted into individual apartments.

Central location near shops, restaurants, train station, etc.
Recently renovated apartment.
Host kindly offered cot and baby bath for our children.
Location was noisy in evenings due to nearby restaurants, concerts in a nearby park on multiple nights, and cars/bikes revving engines and speeding on a few evenings until late.
FYI, this is not a hotel. We thought it was, due to the name. It is an apartment in a beautiful (but a bit run down) old building that used to be a hotel. This wasn't a problem, but good to be clear.
Some basic supplies were missing, like hand soap.

"A lovely compact apartment with character, fantastic views from the balconies and a perfect place to base yourself for a break to tour around Aix Les Bain and the surrounding area"
