Das Walchsee Resort

Sehr großes sehr modernes Zimmer, eine interessante Mischung aus Holz, modernen anderen Materialien, riesige Terrasse, Klasse Aufteilung mit separatem WC, der Flur getrennt mit Schiebetür zum Schlafraum, wirklich toll gemacht, alleine die Auswahl an Toilettenartikeln, Klasse, sehr schön. Das Frühstück mit frischen Müsli, Walnüssen, allen möglichen Zutaten, toll. Ansonsten mir Weißwurst, kleinen Wiener Würstchen etc. Und total frisches Spiegelei und Rührei und und.....Die Nachtbeleuchtung auf dem WC (erstklassig) sowie die Nachtbeleuchtung im Flur, echt super. Ansonsten tolles Bad mit Fenster, riesiger Badewanne, mehr geht nicht!!!

Da fällt uns nicht so viel ein, ein Punkt, die Wasserhähne im Bad, leider nicht drehbar, stylisch ja, toll gemacht, aber unpraktisch, auch das die Einhebel-Funktion ist nicht gegeben war. Die Dusche voll komplett eingerichtet, aber eine Glastür, darüber sollte man nachdenken.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel. Das Personal war immer stets freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Abendessen hätte Abwechslungsreicher sein können.

Spacious room, play room for kids

It was a disappointment. I’ve stayed at many-many hotels, including spa hotels in the Alps, and this was the most expensive (just under 400 euro per night) and the worst value for the money we paid. First of all, the pictures are very misleading. It looks like the hotel is right on the lake, but it’s not. Only the smaller building is, the main building with the spa is a walk away from the lake, by a road, and doesn’t have much of a view. This is just unethical. We chose this hotel among many in Tirol just for the lake view. The spa was subpar - small, only a small sauna and steam room (for families), no whirlpool, no kids pool, no view… They didn’t have slippers - we had to walk to and around the spa in sneakers. The breakfast was average at best - not that many options to choose from and didn’t seem like the best quality either. There was no minibar or refreshments, like water or tea kettle/coffee machine in the room.
