Location was fabulous

The stairs up to the bedroom - like climbing up the side of a bookcase! And the bedroom has such low ceilings you cannot stand in any of it.

The location was very central

There was check-in information provided on Booking.com which we looked at before travelling - having not heard directly from the hosts. However this must have been out of date information and we struggled to get access to the building. Given we did not have any data or call options on our phones we were lucky that someone else staying in the building let us in. Once we got to the front door of the unit/apartment and were unable to gain access with the lockbox codes we had retrieved from the check-in information provided on Booking.com. We had to use international roaming to call the hosts, this also logged us into our account and we had been sent a message with different check-in details, a long time after our arrival time in the country and only a few hours before check-in. If we had not been able to use roaming or log on we would have had no way of accessing the apartment and it would have been an even more stressful situation. The check-in information needs to be provided much more in advance than a few hours! And the information saved to the Booking.com account should be deleted so that it is not referenced in the absent of communication with the hosts.

Location is amazing, right in the center of Annecy. Also very quiet, no outside noise. Apartment is large, big enough for a family of four. A/C saved us from summer heat. Shower is amazing. Wifi is fast. Public parking is across the street.

We got stained old yellowish towels upon arrival (I don’t know if they were just old or used), and messaged the host to change them, but didn’t hear from anyone back and had to improvise. Nowhere to hang wet towels. No microwave. Stairs to the third floor are hard to climb with luggage and stroller, but we managed.

Location was amazing in the old town. Parking in Hotel de Ville (across the street from the apartment) was convenient and not too expensive for long term parking. The apartment is cute, really nice bathroom and shower. AC was great as it was really hot. Owner was very responsive!

The stairs are super dangerous (very artsy and cool) but I would not recommend it for elderly or small children.

It could have been a little better cleaned and more comfortable coaches - a bit old to our taste.

Spacious accommodation, lovely and modern. Excellent location. Owners very helpful.

Cleaning not good. Shower was blocked, had to clean drain filter myself, it was completed full of hair and scum. Lots of dust, particularly around sink in bathroom. Could here heat coming on and off during night.

Location is FANTASTIC

With little children the stairs inside the apartment were not ideal -we have a 3 and 5-year-old but overall the space is lovely and it was perfect for us. The location is STUNNING as well.
