Cullentra House

The host was the sweetest ever. We had to get in very late, around 1am due to flight and car issues but she was very accommodating. She told me to call her when we’re about to reach and we did, she greeted us a warm smile despite us waking her up in the middle of the night. I was very apologetic and appreciative. The room was perfect for a couple for one night, since that’s all we needed. We didn’t get request breakfast but she still gave us some snacks for the road in the morning. Truly such a beautiful woman. The place was very clean, and comfortable as well. I would highly recommend booking this place.

Cullentra House has outstanding views and is spotlessly clean, but what makes the stay is Olive ably assisted by her husband James. They are genial hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. Olive is an excellent cook and baker and her cakes are simply the best, as are her breakfasts. They also are more than happy to advise on local areas of interest and places to eat. Would very highly recommend.

Very clean and well organised.

The only thing I’d like changed would be the auto light in the bathroom.

We stayed with Olive and James beginning of August this summer. It was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. On arrival we enjoyed a warm welcome with a cup of tea and home made cakes which were delicious. Our room was beautiful, warm comfortable, beautifully furnished and very clean with a spectacular view of the sea, a fantastic location. Olive is well known locally and she was able to book us a table for dinner at Harry’s in Cushendall in the evening. The breakfast choice is amazing for a B&B, Olive and James love to feed their guests. Our stay with them greatly enhanced our holiday experience this year. I would highly recommend staying with them if you are in the vicinity. We will be back!
