Staff were excellent

The staff were wonderful- kind and helpful. My wife had a day in the spa and said it was fantastic. The room was a good size and the bed very comfy.

The Brasserie was a little disappointing. The portion sizes were wildly inconsistent - at breakfast my wife's smoked salmon dish was literally half the size of my French toast. It was so tiny that it was hilarious and the waitress immefiately offered to put through a second order for her. The dinner was much the same. The chicken "from the coals" (which was very clearly just pan-fried) was 20 pounds and of sufficient size - came with vegetables - but halibut was twice the price at 40 pounds and was honestly about three mouthful of food. Came with nothing but a tiny square of potato. Also the bill comes with a 12% "discretionary" service charge already added, which rubbed us up the wrong way. For a Michelin restaurant, we did think it might have been more impressive.

Great location, beautiful decor, food always lovely. Sunrise is worth seeing!

We have stayed a number of times and find the rooms aren’t particularly as clean as we would expect. Cobwebs everywhere etc. Similarly the spa looks a little run down and grounds quite unkept. Shame the spa access is so expensive

Not having the spa as part of our package and needing to pay extra to access this & small things such a tea stained mugs in the room & slow service in the restaurant.
