Dream Beach Huts

The remoteness away from crowds, the incredible pool & kindness from all the staff. Dont expect 5 star Hyatt as this location is soooooo remote, but it was definitely beyond 5 star glamping, the huts are soooooo cute & lazing around on hammocks, floating in the amazing pool, or chilling upstairs in the resort building overlooking the incredibly serene coastline. Bliss! Top tip ask the resort to organise your transfers, so much easier than trying yourself. They run a very well run system albeit it might feel a bit chaotic & hectic, but hey this is Bali lol!

Only thing was having to be SOOOOOO careful each time going to loo not to slip on the wooden steps if wet after messing up my shower pressure lololol! Got it right in the end! Maybe add a grab rail for stairs? And antislip tread on stairs? Or am I being toooooo fussy?

Stunning location looking over Dream Beach. Was really nice to fall asleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Loved that it wasn’t near the main part of the island where you come off the boat from Sanur as it can be quite busy. Huts are all nicely space apart and there’s lots of areas around the property where you can lounge around on either a hammock or sun chair. The upstairs area is stunning for views of the ocean during breakfast or for sunset drinks. We stayed 5 nights and it was perfect. Can walk to Sandy Bar Beach Club, Devils Tears to see the blowhole and Clifftop Bar for chilled sunset drinks. Lots of eating places around nearby all walking distance. Scooter hire around the corner is IDR 100k for 24 hrs and you can ride to Cenigan Island across the yellow bridge. Make sure you ride all the way to Mahana Point, grab a beer and watch the waves. Also ride to The View which is up along the ridge of the island where you can also grab drinks and food and have full use of their pool with 180C views.

The hot water is limited each time for showers but as the weather is quite warm it doesn’t really matter.

The huts were up stairs that were uneven and unsafe. It was very inconvenient to then have to go down steps to use the bathroom. We could be seen by neighbors all around when going to and from bathroom. They make their own ice and I believe that’s what made me sick. Also not great to use bathrooms down slippery uneven stairs at night. No clean water in bathroom to brush teeth. Very tired resort. Needs some upgrades.
