Stella Villa, A private villa with pool, located 600m from the beach
La villa è costruita nel mezzo di una proprietà privata coperta di erba di 2400 mq. Il giardino è circondato da alberi ad alto fusto, garantendo la privacy degli inquilini. Sul retro c'è la piscina di 40 mq con lettini e 2 ombrelloni intorno per rilassarsi all'ombra. Sullo stesso lato del giardino ci sono un barbecue e panchine in pietra dove è possibile gustare gustosi pasti. Inoltre, c'è una sala da pranzo all'aperto in legno in una zona coperta fuori dalla cucina e mobili da giardino sul balcone del primo piano e sul cortile posteriore e anteriore.
Stella Villa è un edificio a due piani. L'ingresso conduce all'ampia zona salotto / pranzo con camino. La cucina separata è completamente attrezzata e ha un tavolo da pranzo rotondo per 6 persone. Sullo stesso piano ci sono un'accogliente camera doppia e un ampio bagno. Al primo piano ci sono altre due camere da letto, una doppia e una doppia e un bagno. Entrambe le camere sono dotate di balcone con vista sulla piscina.
Stella Villa si trova nello storico villaggio costiero di Maleme, a 600 metri dalla spiaggia e dal mare blu di Creta. La zona è tranquilla, tuttavia a pochi passi dalla spiaggia di Maleme con le taverne, i bar e i negozi di souvenir. Creta occidentale è il lato dell'isola dove si trovano alcune delle spiagge più rinomate della Grecia; Falassarna, Elafonisi, Paleochora. Mentre guidi lungo le strade di montagna, incontrerai molte piccole taverne tradizionali con prodotti cretesi fatti in casa.

Lovely villa set in well maintained gardens with a large pool. The owners were very kind and left a welcome gift that was very much appreciated after a long day's travel. The property is minutes from the beach and several decent restaurants. Definitely recommend.

A large 3 bed, 2 bath property in extensive grounds, ten minutes walk to Maleme centre - where the Black Lantern has a mix of English and Greek cuisine, and ten mins walk to the sea front / pebble beach with 3 good restaurants (Mythos, Maleme and Waves)
Pictures are reliably accurate, but don't really convey the sense of interior space - plenty of room for a family, and every room has immediate access to an outdoor terrace. Wifi is excellent in the house, but doesn't reach very far outside.
Very well placed for exploring the North and West of the island with access to the E65 National Road only about 5km / 10 mins drive away - and use of a car probably is necessary. There is a large number of attraction leaflets in the hall table - useful for planning days out etc.
The pool is superb - not heated, but that's not an issue in the Cretan sunshine - lovely once you get in it after a hot day exploring Chania, monasteries or historic ruins.
However - be sure to pack insect repellant. The mosquitos were not a big problem, but the midges / gnats / no-see-ums were viciously hungry!
All in - recommended for all. (However disabled access would be difficult given the steps inside and the split level layout).

An older style property fully equipped to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Fantastic pool, always sparkling clean and a great relief in the hot sun.
Villa location is just a 10-15 walk down to local beach and lovely beach taverns and bars. Easy access to Chania, mountains and beyond. Owner was lovely and very helpful.
