Everything was perfect. Very cozy, clean and comfortable room

Great location in centre of Whitby, and very pleasant family room although we were just a couple staying the one night.

Whilst it didn’t impact us as we were just a couple there was no door or divider between the two rooms. So if children were sleeping in the other room on the sofa bed this could be an issue based on prior experience on family trips. Other minor comment is that on the Booking.com site it states checkout is by 11am, whereas the Station Inn makes clear that checkout is by 10.30am. Wasn’t an issue for us but think this needs to be corrected.

Nice front looking room on first floor (room 2) nice clean and warm. The Station Inn is situated in a good location near to the railway station and right next to the harbour. Beer selection was good.

Very welcoming on arrival the staff though-out were lovely. The family room was spacious clean and very comfortable. Great location will be returning.

Really comfy bed. Nice en suite. Friendly staff. Nice pub downstairs, with good beer and sky sports. Would definitely book again,as in a great location. Check out is 11am. So no rush to be out.

Could be noisy late at night, but it's over a pub so was expected. They do provide ear plugs though! Very quiet after the pub had shut, although it was November, so out of season. They don't provide breakfast, but there are lots of places close by you can go to, so not really a problem.

Conveniently located, soundproofing good so couldn’t hear outside hustle and bustle or the pub below. Staff were really nice and we appreciated the bag leaving facilities after our stay. Also, it was a really rainy day so we loved that our room was ready early without us even asking!

The location is very central, we parked in the Marina car park(payable by the RingGo app) we were welcomed by the staff, who explained the fire evacuation plan, and all other bits and pieces. The room was lovely(we were in room 5). Exceptionally clean, beautifully made up beds. The en-suite was very clean, not even a water mark on the taps! The bed was so comfy. There was a kettle with tea and coffee provided and also a nespresso machine. We had a couple of drinks in the bar before we retired for the night, reasonably priced drinks and friendly bar staff. Once in our room we couldn’t hear any noise from the bar area. All in all we had a lovely stay.

Room was great, very clean and easy to get to. Some noise from the bar as we were right above it. All facilities were generally good.

Breakfast would have been good. Bit pricey without it.

Excellent location for everything.We were in a family room sleeps 4 but only 2 of us.Rooms were very nice,clean and spacious.

Great location. Nice friendly traditional pub. Lovely clean modern room.

Unfortunately just too noisy for us. You are warned when booking that venue has live music at weekends. And earplugs are provided in room. But even when no live music (we stayed midweek), general noise from the pub can be heard in room past midnight. We stayed in room 4, which has 2 small frosted windows, so room seemed quite dark. And is on 1st floor. I imagine the rooms on top floor would be quieter and at front would have lovely view of the harbour.

The bar downstairs was a little bit noisy into the early hours, but earplugs are provided with the room.

It is as describe on the picture! The MOST important part was, although it is above the pub. You cannot hear the noise from the pub at all. As I finish my Coast to Coast bike ride at Whitby, all I need a bit of quite for sometime, the room have it. Plus, my young child was part of the support crew, she sleep well at night in the room. The pub was busy until late but no noise come to our room. Great location for sight seeing. Very modern and new. Brilliant shower.

The mirror on the wall not very stable with young child - great mirror, just need to mount it properly. Lack of ventilation in the bathroom - the extractor fan was not working which cause the mirror and the bath room so moist and damn, especially after we use the shower.

Only thing good was the bed !! But then if you looked in the full length mirror from the bed it reflected into other room and to the window which over looked a fire escape platform where people stood smoking and could see straight into our bedroom through the mirror from the other room !!

Where do I start! Well for a £145 a night without breakfast I expected 1st class rooms sea view or a view ? Not the side of a building from one window, then other window looked onto a fire escape platform where people stood smoking looking in !! And I mean 5 feet away ! The bathroom had no toilet roll holder , no shelves to place our toiletries at all same in the shower cubicle . Fan didn't work always steamy! Peigon living on the outside wall in the space. There was not a draw or cupboard to put any clothes away and considering it was a family room how we or anyone with kids would have couped is beyond me! The only thinge for cloths coats shoes etc was a stupid IKEA style thing with 6 hangers absolute joke. TV in 1st room about 6 inches from ceiling!! In main bedroom not even central . There was a coffee machine that in the 2 days we stayed we never managed a coffee just as well there were 2 kettles and T/bags. Then Friday the music started 7pm until after 11pm we only knew about the possibility of this AFTER we paid which was no refundable by then !!! But not a little noise absolutely unbelievable might as well has sat on the stag and I'm not a prud or anything I like to have a beer etc but really not good! I very nearly packed my bags at 9.30pm to go home . Not once in 3 days did anyone ask how we were or our room or anything!! Really poor overall would never recommend to anyone so over priced compared to other and even for say £70 a night wouldn't stay unfortunately never again!! Plus bar was so expensive only had one e when we arrived pint of larger small red wine £11.69 !!! £ 7.70 next door!
