A lovely apartment with stunning views. We really enjoyed our stay and the property was very well equipped. Only other item we would have liked was an oven glove.

We really enjoyed our stay at Outlook. It is a stylish property with stunning views and a large balcony overlooking the harbour. It is a great location just a short walk to Dartmouth.

We very much enjoyed our week in this excellent flat. Very close to the town, shops & restaurants. We loved the terrace as the views over Dartmouth are stunning. Would definitely like to stay again in the future.

We have stayed at several holiday lets in Dartmouth and this one had the best view yet. A great apartment with everything required of a holiday let. The only negative for some people is the short steep walk up the road to the apartment. The view makes the walk worthwhile though, and there is always the Ship in Dock at the bottom of the hill where you can fortify yourself with a drink before the 200m walk. Overall I couldn't recommend this holiday let enough.

This property is spectacular for views of Dartmouth and Kingswear. The layout of the accommodation provides ample room coupled with the balcony space means a perfect self catering choice.

We loved this apartment! Everything was perfect. The walk up the hill is very steep, but well worth it for the amazing views over the town & river. It is advertised as 3 bedrooms & 1 bathroom, but it’s actually got 2 bathrooms & has everything you need. Very quiet & peaceful location but within walking distance of all the shops, bars & restaurants. We loved it!

Loved our stay in the apartment. Ideally situated to explore Dartmouth and surrounding area. Excellent views from balcony and bedroom. Everything you could need supplied. First time in Devon, will definitely be back. Highly recommend property

The property is a great size and location with amazing balcony and view over the Dart estuary. Beautiful towels and bedding and its clear they have gone to a lot of trouble to make it lovely but we did have a problem. Penny and Jim claimed the property had been cleaned that morning but it had been empty since January. The kitchen was lovely and clean but as the first let for the season you would think the property would have been totally cleaned but sadly not. We were not too concerned about the dust on the skirting boards, coffee table, TV unit, ceiling lights, extractor fans, bathroom radiators and the mold etc around the windows/frames which needed wiping down and cleaning. But the kitchen/living area floor had not been swept and there was food stuff etc visible. The worst was the bathrooms sinks with some hair in and dust but in particular the bath had scum marks on it and we were not really happy about that. We called them and Penny came round in a total rage pushing and shoving us and waiving a fist in our faces. She was saying she had never had any complaints, she said the bath was never used so clearly did not matter, she asked if we were from some TV show we had never heard of and told us we could leave and have a full refund but she was not prepared to sort out the floor and bathrooms. That was not a feasible option for us at 5pm on a Saturday night and we knew there were no other properties in Dartmouth anyway from when we booked. She was almost hysterical and we were astounded by the reaction and kindly asked her to leave because the atmosphere was quite upsetting. She left and we got the cleaning equipment out. Jim appeared a bit later, no apology but asking if everything was alright and said that Penny was very upset - quite bizarre. We got on with our holiday and had a lovely time. Its a real shame and its clear from what we showed Penny that she could not see the dirt and dust and just tutted. We did not really mention about a lot of the dust and windows, there was clearly no point if she could not see that the bath was not acceptable. If they are able to get the place cleaned properly then it would be perfect. We are not habitual complainers and rent many properties, I think the last time we complained was over 20 years ago when we stayed in a hotel that had holes in the bedsheets.

We’d never been to Dartmouth before and were very lucky to choose this property for our first stay. The views of the town, the estuary and the surrounding hills is excellent. Ridge Hill is a good location. It’s easy to get to being close to the main road into town and is still close enough to the town centre to provide quick access on foot. Common to many properties in Dartmouth you have to be able to walk up a steep hill to get home and parking is always a question of park where you can. We were able to park most days in Mount Boone further up the hill from the house. The house is nicely equipped and spacious. Enjoyed our stay.

We were looking forward to staying here and from the web page it looked amazing. We were not disappointed.

We have stayed before and would definitely like to stay again.

We come to Dartmouth every year and love it, this flat has had the best views so far they are spectacular it’s like watching a moving picture, the flat was well appointed with everything you need and a good standard the balcony was amazing for watching the world go by and the hustle and bustle of the water. Amazing.

We loved this apartment. It is spacious, modern, stylish, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect - a 2 minute walk to the town centre and the most amazing views over the River Dart. The owners were very friendly and very responsive. Highly recommended.

Outlook is indeed a super place. Beautifully clean with thoughtful extras we had such a lovely time here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Very efficient booking system. We wanted a lovely apartment with a view of the river in Dartmouth for 4 nights. We booked at short notice but it wasn't a problem. Very well equipped property with stunning views and a short walk into the town so we didn't need to use the car. Highly recommended.

My mother, daughter and I had a fabulous stay. I agree with some of the other reviews, the photos are great but the house is even nicer in the flesh. The view is outstanding with something to watch at all times, all three of us miss it now that we are home. As we were there in July we found it difficult to find a parking place when we arrived, but once parked there was no need to use the car again. Dartmouth itself is a lovely place to visit with lots of trips by boat or steam train. We feel very lucky to have found such a gem and hope to return again in the future. Penny, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Amazing views from the balcony, living/dining room and master bedroom. I got up at 4.30am to sit and watch the river wake up! The apartment/town house is spotlessly clean and very comfortable and well designed, with modern top quality furnishings and equipment. The decor is fresh and neutral. We loved the open plan kitchen and living area....so spacious. We parked at the top of the hill and were able to walk into town easily (7 minutes) and to the lower entrance of the naval college (5 minutes). Perfect situation and a lovely quiet location. We have visited Dartmouth for several years and can honestly say this has been the best property we have stayed in. The property itself had everything we needed and was very modern and clean- the view from the living area and main bedroom were fantastic. The only slight problem we had was with the WiFi being a bit intermittent (with two teenagers this is a priority) but on the whole it worked well. The property was only a short walk to the town centre. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location with lovely views and outside terrace. Easy walking to town centre to eating places. Brilliant for a break away from it all.

The property was everything we had hoped for, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We could have moved in quite easily. Dartmouth was great with loads to see and do with everything within easy walking distance of the appartment. Parking was a slight problem but ended up leaving the car for several days anyway. The local park is dog friendly and a great place to have an alfresco breakfast. Lots of other places to eat out or with M&S Food just round the corner for eating in. Lovely, spacious apartment with amazing views over the river from both the living area and the main bedroom. Amazing to wake up to and watch from the balcony! The apartment was well equipped and whilst it was only a five minutes walk into town the street itself was very quiet with very little passing traffic. A fantastic place to get away and relax, thanks Penny!

The apartment was lovely, better than it looked in the pictures, on a quiet side street, close the centre of Dartmouth and all the pubs, restaurants, shops etc. It was clean, modern and well equipped, with a balcony overlooking the river Dart with the most amazing view. The only downside for us was the parking, which was quite tricky, being on the street further up the hill, and we had to park quite far away from the property on a couple of occasions.

Lovely apartment. good location, stunning views. Homely touches were appreciated. Two minor negatives for us were we found the key safe very difficult to open which on arrival was a bit disconcerting, we were almost at the point of calling owner. Secondly the Wifi was a bit flaky, with teenage children that didn't go down too well. Despite that we would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Dartmouth.

Outstanding Views, Beautiful Modern Flat, Huge kitchen area, 5 minutes walk from centre, quiet street, the perfect holiday retreat if you just want to get away from it all. Absolutely loved it!
