We stayed in Villa Myrrini - 3 bedrooms, Nice size villa and pool, clean, comfortable beds, lots of lounging space in house, Huge front porch with views and very comfortable cushioned pool loungers. The villa is located in Asteri, a small town with a wonderful cafe Irini’s cafe Neon with home cooked meals and Poliou House with a Cretan show (Thursday and Fridays) and good food - great experience and don’t forget to make reservations weeks in advance. Both places are within a block of the Villa. We also visited Arkadi Monastery (15 minute drive) and palace of Knossos (1.5 hours away). Villa is close to Rethymno but we didn’t have time as we loved relaxing at the pool. They were also very accommodating in dropping off our luggage early in the day of check-in. Nice villa and highly recommend.

WiFi not available in all bedrooms but most places it was good. Wooden doors were beautiful but we had a hard time opening and closing some of them.

I loved how cosy the property was. How quickly the host responded to any messages. We was made to feel home very quickly. Clean property.

I didn’t like the hot water playing up occasionally. Also the cats everywhere

Location great, 5 mins from national highway, lovely little village, loved the pool and garden.

nothing.
