This hotel was built over a century ago and lovingly restored to become a showpiece of yesteryear's beauty. We initially only booked one night because we wanted to explore other parts of the island but extended our stay for another three days because we were so smitten with this place. When we first stepped in, we were received by the super friendly staff—and they all are super friendly—and were seated and served tea in an antique-clad foyer. The layout, with its various charming seating arrangements, makes the place feel spacious and comfortable. You can snack on a free assortment of little cakes and biscuits lined up at the antique former reception desk. Our deluxe room was spacious, super comfortable, and beautifully appointed. We have been travelling for a while, but this place was hands down the best place we stayed at because of its charm. We highly recommend The Memory at On On and hope to return for another step back in time.

This hotel is a historical building located in the centre of the Phuket old town. The decoration and vide of the hotel brings very local feeling. The check in required additional personal information which I thought is a bit strange, but overall experience is good.

The mosquitos!!!! I have to shower myself with insect repellant when sitting in the lobby area. The room is quite small compare to other hotels I have stayed during my Thailand trip, probably due to it is an old heritage building.
