Great location to get some rest and enjoy the swimmingpools and surrounding area. We had an appartment for 4 people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, sitting room and kitchen/diningroom. There was enough space, but the appartment is very basic. Some windows have insect screens.

The lady who is manager only speaks Italian. When we arrived the sink stopper was stuck so the water could not drain away. We could show her the problem with photo's, but it was difficult to understand what she was planning to do about it. Just shrugging your shoulders is not a solution. In the end a mechanic came and the problem was solved. There's no airco. Even in september it can get very warm. The kitchen needs upgrading. Only one poweroutlet and 3 different kitchen aids (coffee, toaster, microwave) are struggling for power on a very small surface area. Not all the windows have insect screens and there were a lot of mosquitoes. Many waste baskets for different types of waste but very confusing instructions on the bin lids.

The 3 swimming pools were excellent and there were a good array of sunbeds and deck chairs around the pools. Each apartment has access to outside seating and we were lucky enough to have a covered terrace outside the apartment. The fans were very much needed overnight and it was good to have mosquito screens on the windows (there are lots of mosquitos in august!). It was excellent to have access to a washing machine and drying rack (although some washing powder supplied would be good otherwise you have to buy a big bag from the supermarket!). The location is beautiful with fabulous small medieval towns nearby - you definitely need a car. Great restaurants close by.

We stayed for 5 days and really needed a supply of washing up liquid and toilet paper for that amount of time (we only had 3 small single sachets of washing up liquid!). Light bulbs had gone in the kitchen which made it rather dull. Massimo was very apologetic and quick to send a technician to fix a broken plug socket and replace the broken hairdryer. A few little things need fixing like the kitchen light and the dripping bathroom tap and the broken shower screen.
