Barn conversion In Rural Herefordshire near Hay on Wye - Meadow End Barn
Meadow End Barn può ospitare 12 persone in 6 camere da letto (la sesta camera da letto è aperta sul soggiorno su una scala a chiocciola sul mezzanino), in una posizione tranquilla nel villaggio, a 6 miglia da Hay on Wye. Bella proprietà in pietra con ampio salotto ideale per grandi feste nel cortile con parcheggio privato e giardino recintato. Interni moderni con 6 camere da letto (4 al piano terra) e una sesta camera da letto a pianta aperta situata su un soppalco. 5 doccia o bagni, tre con bagno privato. Tutti con riscaldamento a pavimento. Pieno di comfort e una cucina ben attrezzata. 2 cani ammessi. A pochi passi dal pub del villaggio. Grande area pedonale con Black Mountains e Brecon Beacons a portata di mano.

House was better than expected. It was superb. Great for a family get together. Kitchen was large, lounge was large, garden was large and everything was just perfect.

The space was amazing, spacious, cozy! We had an amazing weekend with friends working on projects and everyone was very happy about the stay. Kitchen was really good size for a lot of people to stand there and have a casual chat so as the rest of the space.

An ideal place to stay, we did so for a 60th birthdays celebration. Accommodated all 12 adults in comfort, allowing us to have a celebratory meal and drinks. Trips to nearby Hay and the Arthur’s Stone ridge by the property. An excellent weekend, thank you Coralie.

We had a nice week at the barn - our host was welcoming and communication with her was excellent. The barn was easy to find and access (with ample parking) and a fantastic location for exploring the Wye Valley and Hay on Wye. The Moccas Park nearby was great too.The decor was incredibly tasteful (albeit different from the photos) and the barn was very well appointed, enabling is to prepare food and also bbq. The upside-down layout worked really well. The ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms was excellent, our guests were all well catered for. Lots of games and entertainment for the kids too.The main issue we had with the barn was that it was too hot for us, much more than we are used to at home! There didn't seem to be many ways to cool it (one fan was provided) and also no shade in the garden throughout the day until the evening. Room temperatures were well above 30 degrees and we didn't even use the aga or log fire. Bedding was all very heavy and we could barely stand to go in the drying room. This wouldn't put me off recommending it to any of my friends, I think it's just more of a winter or shoulder season place. Being close to the river helped for lots of swims to cool down though!
