Appartamento arredato con eleganza a soli 50 passi da piazza san marco.Si trova al secondo piano di una palazzina ; l'appartamento è composto da cucina abitabile perfettamente attrezzata , soggiorno con comodo divano trasformabile in letto matrimoniale , piccolo bagno, camera da letto matrimoniale con ampio armadio e bagno, splendida terrazza soleggiata.

From start to finish, Donatella was warm and helpful. Her home is lovely and more well-furnished than we've had before: kitchen items, towels, extra pillows and blanket. Lots of space. Perfect location. I would recommend this home to anyone going to Venice.

Ca'Lombardo is a fantastic apartment in a great location. When arriving in Venice, the apartment is easy to find and located just a short walk from the San Marco Alilaguna stop. Venice is a great walking city and the apartment provides a base to explore all of the neighborhoods and sites.
Once inside, the apartment is very comfortable, spacious, and has a well-equipped kitchen. In addition to the inside space, there is a lovely terrace. The apartment had everything we needed during our stay.
Donatella provided fantastic recommendations for osterias as well as places to get cicchetti. We appreciated her recommendations since they highlighted places patronized by Venetians. The apartment is also a stones throw away from what some consider one of the best pizzerias in the city.
We had a wonderful time here and would definitely stay again.

Everything from Donatella's communications, directions and advice, through to the apartment's location a stones throw from Campo San Marco couldn't have been better. Facilities in the apartment were superb. Just like a home from home! Feel like a local, not just a tourist. Highly recommended.

Apartment was very nice in an excellent location just outside San Marco square. Easy walk to sites and restaurants.
Donatella was helpful and patient as we missed our flight connection from Rome, arriving 4 hours later than expected.
Certainly will stay again when in Venice.

We enjoyed our short stay in Casa Lombardo very much ! Very central situated, in the shadow of San Marco, the appartement is large, very charming and has everything you could think of. Even Wellingtons for the not unlikely event of Aqua Alta …
We can highly recommend this nice place as a perfect base for exciting days in La Serenissima

We truly enjoyed our stay. Awesome home away from home. Loved having the half bath, private balcony, access to water boots and the great location! Donatella was so helpful and nice!

A great stay often starts with the owner, and Donatella provided us a great introduction to Venetian hospitality. The apartment was just a 5 minute walk from the water taxi and it was a bit larger than we expected. The photos are accurate, but understated, which is a big plus when arriving. Plenty of nearby restaurants but we used a grocery store, only a 3-4 minute walk, and prepared most meals in the kitchen, which was well supplied with basic items. The tiny kitchen sink was a challenge washing dishes, but that’s Venice. Highly appreciative of our 3 days!

The property is in an ideal location just around the corner from San Marco Square. Easy walking to major sites and the flexibility to pop back to the apartment without having to "pack up for the day". Donatella provided very helpful directions from the train station, and also to nearby restaurants and grocery stores. And there is a very nice coffee shop just around the corner for an early bite. We had a wonderful 3 nights in Venice. Thank you Donatella!

Venezia is a city controlled by water-- the blood of the city, as it were. Donatellas's VRBO is next to San Marco Square-- the Heart of Venezia. The canals are the arteries of Venezia -- in effect the roadways around the city. The canals provide access for services-- from medical to garbage pickup-- the canals draw all the tourist and the canals make Venezia one of the most unique places in the world. We loved our stay at Donatella's VRBO-- very comfortable and such easy access to all things Venezia. Her apartment was perfect for two people -- nice bedroom and a well stock kitchen. Two unexpected treats-- a patio out the back and a bakery down a flight of stairs.

This apartment is located near St. Mark’s square and close to many good restaurants. Donatella was great to work with. She left a binder with instructions and recommendations and was easy to contact via WhatsApp. The lock can be a little tricky and it’s a good idea to use it while Donatella is there. The apartment is on the 3rd floor in American terms but it wasn’t difficult for my old knees. The kitchen is well stocked and I appreciated the carafe of cold water in the fridge. The bedroom is spacious and has a large wardrobe with plenty of hangers. The bathroom is a little tight, as is the shower but it worked for us and it was well stocked with soap and shampoo. We would definitely stay here again.

Donatella’s place was great! Location was perfect and so close to many sites, restaurants and shopping. Donatella was a great host, meeting us on site and providing excellent recommendations to food, activities, areas to visit and transportation tips. 5 out of 5!

Great location for everything we had planned for our 4 days in Venice. We enjoyed the charm and traditional feel of the apartment which was spacious and very clean. Donatella is a wonderful host who reached out to confirm our arrival details. She told us the best way to get from the airport then provided photos and a video to make sure we didn’t get lost once we were on foot. Likewise she gave us info to make getting to the train station stress free.

Great location, very convenient. The place was amazing! Very clean and welcoming. Private balcony was a bonus. And…it had air conditioning so you could cool down if needed. Highly recommend this place for vacation.

Comfortable and close to everything. Tiny street but directions and a review of Google maps got us there without trouble. Donnatella was a perfect host giving us valuable information from the first day. Perfecto!

I can't say enough about the location of this fantastic apartment. Especially for your first time in Venice it's exactly where you'd want to be. Yes - it's a bit crowded, but that means that you're close to everything. The apartment is spacious, clean and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Donatella is excellent - always there when/if you need her and had lots of great suggestions for us. As another reviewer posted, the key/lock can be a bit tricky - make sure you practice before Donatella leaves. Overall, I would definitely stay here again - highly recommend!!

The host Donatella WAS fantastic, detailed in how to reach and access the unit, and even sent videos! She made our stay enjoyable, the unit is centrally located near San Marco's Square, which made navigating your trip easy.
The unit is spacious, clean, and very inviting. The patio was a great way to start your day with your morning cup of coffee. The only downside is it was not made clear that the unit was on the 3rd floor. Had this been made clear then we would have packed differently, but this is not the fault of the host, I do believe that this is just a different way of life than what we are used to on the other side of the Atlantic. What would have been a useful tip is to have known that we could have closed the wooden shutters in the bedroom so that we could sleep in later in the morning. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting Venice, just pack a light and take a very small suitcase. Donatella is an excellent host, very helpful in all aspects, and responsive.

Incredible beautiful apartment with a wonderful terrace and everything you need! Great location just two short blocks from st marks square. Manager is super nice and helpful and has a lot of wonderful tips for eating and visiting areas that are not touristy and simply beautiful. We love Venice and this apartment made it even better. Great value ! Would definitely return. Grazie !

This little gem is right in the heart of Venice just a block or two from St Marks cathedral. We were told to get off at the San Marco vaporetto station but then discovered there are two. Turns out either one works and neither is appreciably closer than the other. We arrived after dark which was problematic because walking into the building is pitch black. Discovered later, in the daylight, that there is a wall switch just inside the door on the right which is on a timer to give you just enough time to climb to your apartment before the lights go out. We had a terrible time getting the key to work in the apt door but Donatella was in constant touch with photos showing how the key needs to be oriented as it is inserted. Thank goodness for flashlights on our phones. Have to admit we had trouble with the key every time-light or dark. Very strange locks. Also couldn’t figure out how to get the air conditioning to work so we just opened the windows and let the sounds of Venice envelope us.

My husband and I spent two nights in this lovely apartment right behind Saint Mark's square. The apartment was perfect location and gave us access to everything we wanted to see.

Wonderful place to stay. The host greeted us and showed us around the accommodation. It is only a very little ways from San Marco. Shopping, restaurants and activities are within steps of the VRBO. Vaparetto only a little further away and Rialto bridge in easy walking distance.

We stayed for a week. Donatella our extremely friendly and helpful host gave us all the right advice and directions to make our trip more enjoyable. If one want to stay in a perfectly placed, comfortable, well fitted out, still very original Venetian apparent, this should be the one! Highly Recommended!

What a beautiful home base for exploring this very friendly and beautiful city. The apartment was super clean and extremely comfortable with loads of charm. We loved staying here. The apartment is literally 2 minutes from San Marco and is very well situated for super markets, cafes, restaurants.
The space was really clean and tidy and there was everything we needed; from loo roll, olive oil to herbal tea.
The host was easy to communicate with and we had all the info we needed.
We would both stay here again!

This charming apartment is blessed with a wonderful location just minutes from San Marcos square. Donatella was a great host and the apartment had everything we needed. The washing machine was very convenient with the patio for drying clothes quickly. The air conditioning held up to the late July heat. We recommend this apartment highly.

Great place in the heart of Venice
A beautifully furnished apartment with everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. Good mattress ( I have a bad back and slept comfortably), good shower, a well equipped kitchen, AC ( Venice was a hot oven during our visit, so it felt nice knowing you could put it on to cool the place off very quickly), and all of that literally a minute from St. Marco square. Donatella (accommodating, kind and cheerful) was prompt and helpful before our arrival and during our visit. An accommodation can make or break a stay in a new country/city; Donatella’s definitely made ours.

So near to San Marco, but tucked away in a quiet Calle, this charming apartment was perfect for seeing the sights, then relaxing on the large balcony with a glass of wine. Well-stocked kitchen. Communication with Donatella was simple, so responsive, with lots of helpful advice. We’d definitely stay again.
