This place is an absolute gem. The staff are great and the location is awesome. Super close to the beach and the air conditioning is tip top. The pool was a welcome bonus in near 40 degree heat and was so nice. Certainly going to visit again.

We loved everything about it - the ambiance, the staff, the comfort, the location, the garden - everything!

The room was large and very clean. Bed comfortable - extra blanket for a chilly night. Shower and bathroom facilities very clean. Room cleaned daily. Staff very helpful. Location great - away from the main road but central enough and two supermarkets very close by.

The pool was not open - full of algea - nowhere did it state the pool wouldn't be open. It was cleaned while we were there but not filled with water........

This little gem with a beautiful and very well kept attractive garden is at five minutes from the beach and only three kilometers from the entrance of the natural park of La Doñana. Efficient and most helpful receptionists. Mostly Spanish spoken here.

The hotel’s cafeteria offers only Spanish breakfast but there are restaurants at the nearby boulevard.

The room was fine, nothing particularly special, but the gardens are extraordinary. Absolutely beautiful. We loved the little private patio at the front of the room that was shaded by jasmine and a lovely place to sit out of the sun.

The green and birds (Black birds and Petirrojo) around the hotel! Super!! And nice personnel!

The smell in the room, which was very penetrating. Someone from the personnel told us that a quest before us had been smoking in the room. They probably tried to cover it?? But it smelled like a toilet spray odour. The many flowering Tuscan Jasmine around could have caused a bit of the penetrating smell. The bathroom was not clean enough. I was not very impressed about Matalascañas. Actually I found the village quit depressing. So my opinion about the hotel is probably a bit influenced. But a stay in Hotel Doñana Blues makes a stay in Matalascañas a bit softer.

Beautiful little oasis in a quiet residential area. Very pretty gardens & lovely pool. The staff were really friendly & helpful. Our room was perfectly adequate & always cleaned with fresh towels. Well situated about 8 minutes from the beach & a similar distance to the restaurant area for evenings. We really enjoyed our stay.

Carmen and her team were incredible hosts. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and I came home each evening to the most gorgeous kittens sitting outside my door. The pool area is an oasis of calm and was super clean. The breakfast was delicious and great value for money. I loved the little touches of hospitality, like lighting the candles in the lanterns outside each room when it got dark... made the gardens look very beautiful. I was traveling alone and this was the perfect place for some rest and relaxation.

We had a very pleasant stay after a busy time. We needed privacy and we got it. The little garden is beautiful.

Lovely gardens, central location

The site was difficult to locate without google map because the signage on the bldg was on a plate on the outside of the bldg, not hanging as in north american hotels. The owner did have two plates on streets to help guide one to the site.

Nothing particular to dislike - odd place at the time of the stay: the place and eateries were closed, difficult to find a supermarket. Appeared to have an onsite small coffee shop/restaurant that seemed deserted. We were lucky to be in our campervan so had food and cooking facilities would have struggled with eating or drinking.

Proximity to the lovely beach and promenade.

1. Very nice tranquil territtory, I am surprised they don't have more outside pictures here 2. 5-10 mins walking from the beach, bus station, restaurant street. 3. I liked my single room. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom just with a glass semi-wall, so the shower cabin is basically in the room, but it was spacious enough to be comfortable for one person, and I understood this lay-out only applies for this particular room 4. The pool was nice and not crowded in fully booked hotel

The room we stayed at was very warm, but luckily there was aircon - the breakfast bar opens quite late in the morning (9 o’clock)

This hotel is a hidden gem! The gardens alone are worth the visit- I felt like o was a Beautiful tropical oasis. My room was beautiful, lovely decor, clean and super comfortable. I loved everything. There is a tv and good air con. I didn’t use the pool but I looked very nice abs was well maintained. The beach and restaurants are just a short walk away. There is also a good supermarket just 2 mins walk away . The staff were all very helpful, kind and friendly. You can borrow a beach towel for a small deposit - fully refundable.

Absolutely beautiful gardens. Stunning patio, and lovely to sit out and read in the morning or evening on our private terrace. The swimming pool was also delight, and we took great advantage of it. Tasty breakfast and good service. Less than 5 mins to the Main Street, and plaza. Not far to the beach.

Some of the other guests weren’t as respectful regarding noise levels at night. But there were signs up in the room to ask people to pay attention to hours of rest.

Clean and comfortable with lovely garden

The room was clean and well furnished. We liked the somewhat rural location. Well connected by good roads, and within walkung distance of some very good restaurants, but not crowded.

The water in the bathroom was very cold. Trying to get warm water meant leaving the tap running for several minutes. We didn't want to waste that much water ... so washing up was somewhat less than comfortable.
