L'appartamento si trova in un vecchio edificio e completamente rinnovato da noi. Abbiamo abbattuto molte pareti per creare una sensazione aperta e ariosa in tutto l'appartamento. La terrazza è stata una caratteristica fondamentale per noi quando abbiamo acquistato il posto e abbiamo trascorso molte deliziose mattine, pranzi e serate ammirando i panorami e lasciando entrare il sole di Lisbona. La finestra sul tetto al secondo piano annuncia l'ariosità. Adoriamo cucinare insieme e, dato che ci sono così tanti ottimi prodotti alimentari disponibili in Portogallo, abbiamo creato una cucina fatta per cucinare in gruppo. Un sacco di spazio e un'isola da cucina lo rendono un ottimo posto per stare insieme. La cucina è integrata nel soggiorno rendendo quell'area il fulcro naturale per amici e parenti. Alfama, la città vecchia con la sua miriade di vicoli e vicoli, bar e ristoranti sono appena fuori dalla porta. Esplora il Castello, il Pantheon e il Monastero a piedi e cogli l'occasione per acquistare alcuni pezzi d'antiquariato presso la Feira de Ladra (il più grande e migliore mercatino delle pulci di Lisbona). La metropolitana è a soli 200 metri dall'appartamento e ti dà un facile accesso a tutte le attrazioni di Lisbona e ci sono autobus sulla stessa strada che ti porta all'Expo è di 15 minuti.

This is a very comfortable property if you are a seasoned European traveler. Yes, the stairs are tricky-it's a very old building. We were lucky with parking all three days we were there. You may not be, but there is a parking garage not too far away. As others stated, the main bathroom has a short ceiling, you just work around it. We loved it and the location!

The apartment was just what we wanted. It was very clean, stocked kitchen. Just perfect. The views were awesome. The host was easy to deal with. She responded right away. I will say after reading the negative review below i was a little nervous but this place is nothing like he described. We never felt unsafe ever! The steps are a little narrow but not dangerous. There are light switches on each floor, so no need to panic if it shuts off. Everything is within walking distance. Such a great apartment in a great location!! You will not be sorry if you plan your next vacation here!!

Let me try to be as fair as I can. Our difficulty began when trying to even gain access to the property. It is located in a place that is not suitable to reach by car on the weekends. The main road into the area was barricaded off with no access, trying another route ran us into an active flea market with no access. The hosts essentially shrugged off our concerns as she was "out driving".
We ended up moving construction barricades to get to the property where there was no place to park or unload our luggage. After double parking we entered the building and where we quickly realized the place was not as advertised. The plaster was coming off the walls in the stairwell and there were several stairs that were broken. My wife nearly fell when the wood step just popped up. She also immediately started dealing with allergy issues related to dust and possible molds.
The neighborhood is very old, which is fine, but did not feel safe for my wife and our guests. Dragging luggage up to the top floor on uneven and wobbly steps didn't inspire confidence.
We reached to the host with our concerns and were basically blown off. I am a host and own several of my own properties and was willing to negotiate an equitable settlement as we could not stay in an unsafe environment and one that was causing an allergic reaction.
I still have not gotten a response so do not recommend this host for anyone. The place could be great with a little TLC and better instructions.

Very comfortable apartment in the Alfama -- conveniently located close to Santa Apolonia train/metro station. There are several restaurants close to the apartment. Guests need to be comfortable walking up several flights of stairs..there is a light switch just inside the entry door for the stairwell

Very spacious, on two levels, with a nice balcony on the upper level. Near the train station and large grocery store. Only downfall are the three flights of tricky stairs and the sloped ceilings in the loft, especially the shower.

Lovely, traditional feel property. Duplex, great roof terrace. Very well equipped, clean, tidy. Perfect base to explore Lisbon. Owner very prompt with answers to our questions. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. Really nice and spacious living area and a well equipped modern kitchen. The outside area has an incredible vista if an impressive 17th century church that is lit up at night. The local area has a vast array of bars, cafes and restaurants. We hope to be able to visit again soon.

We spent 5 days at the apartment in Lisbon. It was a good location not to far walk from the downtown busy core. Lots of little shops and restaurant's once you go down the street. It was very clean and comfortable for the 6 of us. We kept the air conditioner on most of the time we were there becasue there was only one unit on the top hallway. It kept the apartment cool. My husband and I stayes on the top floor which is like a loft. Very cute apartment.

Great location! Lots of things to see and do. Alfama is a busy spot but this home is located in a quiet area. It has easy access to the airport and train station as well. Hosts are attentive and helpful.

The apartment was clean and in a good area to start shopping and eating. The property mgr. responded within an hour. But, we had no a/c as the unit would drip water from to steps, it was fixed the day before we left. More importantly , there were ants in 1 BR my gr. kids got bit and ? other biting insects. I messaged property owner about problem,said sorry. Upon leaving she stated I hope you enjoyed your time with us. Well,I was somewhat disappointed . Recommend Expedia check out .

We had our son, daughter-in-law and 2 teenage granddaughters with us. We all enjoyed our stay. The location in Lisbon is LaFama….the oldest district that was not destroyed in the 1755 earthquake. What a great area. There were a huge variety of restaurants within minutes of the front door…small grocery store within 50’. The waterfront was less than a 5 min walk as was the train station to Porto. The business/shopping district was a 2 km walk or a quick Uber drive at very little cost.
The 2 story unit was perfect…true to photos. Kitchen was well appointed with great appliances. Host responds quickly to needs by text.
We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone we know who visits Lisbon.

We are traveling with another couple for our first time in Lisbon.. We couldn't have been more pleased with Sao Vicente! The check in was simple, we found parking right in front of the door. The stairs were a bit hard to climb but once you get into the apartment it is worth it - great open space with lots of light. the kitchen has everything you would need. The three bedrooms, two bathrooms gave us enough privacy. We had so much fun trying the fabulous restaurants around Sao Vicente. The first night we ate in a very typical Portuguese restaurant that was delicious, we ate fantastic Italian and Indian our last night at Zaika - highly recommend. We took a cycle tour with Lisbon cycle tour that was a 6 minute walk that gave us a great overview of the city. You will be a happy traveler if you get to experience Sao Vicente and Lisbon!!

We had an excellent experience at this apartment in Alfama. The location was convenient for train, metro, and several excellent restaurants within the neighborhood. The amenities were in great shape, with plenty of storage, modern kitchen, and appliances. I think we most enjoyed the roof terrace for breakfast before heading out to see the sights.

It’s an excellent flat ( clean, nicely decorated and well- equipped) in a great area (Alfama). The entrance and 2 flights of stairs (no lift) are very dark but don’t be intimidated - just use your phone flashlight. The patio is fantastic! A cab from the airport was 20 Euro - not worth public transportation for us. We were there 3 days so 1 towel was fine. Alfama Cellar is a fabulous restaurant and very close.

Very well appointed updated property in a very convenient location near Santa Apolonia train station,buses and the National Pantheon. We had a housekeeping deficiency at the check in but the host, Ekterina, was extremely responsive to rectify and offered us a prompt partial refund for inconvenience. We enjoyed a very modern kitchen and well stocked dishes and cutlery. The couches, TV & dining area were very comfortable. We would consider staying there again if ever in Lisbon. Even with 3rd floor location without an elevator.

We were so pleased to have found Ekaterina’s lovely apartment in Alfama! We were 2 couples travelling together and it fit our needs perfectly! Despite the chilly weather, we sat out each evening on the spacious terrace enjoying the sighs and sounds of Lisbon.
There was a problem with the internet (due to a cut cable, not an issue with Ekaterina’s apartment internet) and she made arrangements for alternate use of an internet service. Very considerate and appreciated!
Her communication was prompt and excellent. All in all, a wonderful apartment in a beautiful city.

A charming place to stay while visiting Lisbon. Walkable to all over Alfama easily, short 20 min walk to Praca do Comercio. Easy access to bus & train to the rest of Lisbon.
I’d caution that travelers should be able to climb stairs to reach the rooftop apt.

This large, three bedroom apartment is located in the top floor of an old and charming building (note: three narrow flights of stairs required to reach it so not suited for those with mobility issues). The neighborhood was very well located for walking and exploring Lisbon. Beyond Alfama a 20 minute stroll takes you to the downtown tourist areas.
The beds were comfortable, and the apartment was well stocked. A lovely updated kitchen with a large table for dining in (we didn’t. Too many excellent restaurants everywhere you look!).
The hosts were very responsive and went above and beyond to help when I mistakenly left my wedding rings in the apartment after we had checked out. I’m forever grateful for their efforts to successfully arrange to get them to me (at the airport!!). That’s customer service!!

We were two couples and this apartment was perfect! It is spacious, modern, and very comfortable. We loved the neighborhood and enjoyed exploring the various winding streets and alleyways. Close to train station, easy to catch an Uber, and fun to walj - it is the perfect location for exploring Lisbon.

Enjoyed our stay in this clean, character filled apartment situated in a good area close to the train station and historic buildings. There were five adults and everyone enjoyed their stay. Lots of places to visit within walking distance. Many great restaurants as well.

Place was clean and well kept. Several cafe’s in walking distance. Downside was we only received two bath towels and two hand towels. No other towels or wash cloths were provided or available in the unit. Only one kitchen towel provided as well.
Greeters were very friendly and polite but we had a challenge communicating with them.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! The location worked well and we walked almost everywhere. The apartment was spacious and well equipped for our group of four adults. The outdoor terrace with its view of the pantheon was a lovely bonus. Ekaterina was flexible and helpful. We appreciated being able to drop off our luggage early on the day we checked in.

The apartment is nice and the area too. But NB: no air condition in the apartment. It was one there, but it did not work. We came during a heat, and it was so warm in the apartment. When telling the owner the answer was to open the window 😏 It was warmer outside then inside and very noisy because of building construction. We were told to buy a fan. It kept the kids asleep for the night but could only be in one room at a time. In retro we should have taken a hotel room with air con, but then we would probably loose our money paid for the apartment. Sorry to say this had a huge impact in our stay in Lisbon.

Amazing!
This may be our favorite property we've ever enjoyed! This apartment is just wonderful!! After you get over the scary stairway, you enter into a beautiful place - the rooftop patio/view will stay with us forever!!
