Bifora Heritage Hotel

Our room was right around corner from the restaurant. At first thought it might be noisy but closing the window and putting air con on, i didn’t hear a thing! Loved the stone walls inside and at property yet modern remodel. Very close just over the bridge from old town of Trogir. Breakfast good made to order and we chose to dine in their restaurant and that was michelin recommended. Also and very important they had parking. Tight and 20 euros but worth it.

Again on first floor right next to restaurant. But turned out okay.

The old building is beautiful and the restaurant downstairs has very nice (but very expensive) fine cuisine for dinner. The rooms were mostly clean, the breakfast was pretty good.

There weren't really any big issues, it's really fine, just not as great as price / description would suggest. The rooms were clean(ish), but not perfectly clean. The AC would turn off when not in the room and was too loud to run at night so it was hard to cool down. The terrace has kitchen vents coming out at it, so it's not really practical to sit there. The couch is present, but useless. The people are nice, but clearly understaffed. These are small issues and I would happily stay again in principle, but at this price I would try something else first.

The tiny hotel is very close to the old town, parking places are available in the back and the hotel's restaurant is a very nice experience. The staff was beyond great, helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is in a charming old house so expect some quirks especially if you have accessibility requirements. Room had decent soundproofing (see issues below).

The hotel is right below the approach path of airplanes landing at Split Airport but the sound is manageable with the windows closed. The only issue our room had was the AC with two settings - loud and very loud with some rattle of the plastic case from time to time. Also we could not set the wind direction. We had to sleep without it on but it might not be a possibility (since the room was in the attic) all the time.

Location was great. Room was good but average in comparison to the other 3 places we had stayed over the previous 2 weeks based on the price we paid.

Staff and service, we arrived a bit early but very poor comms from staff on arrival. Room was ready but they did not check when we arrived so we sat around and walked the town for a few hours. They almost seemed to be doing you a favour if you asked them anything. Cleaning staff were more friendlier than the team. Rooms had no kettle so no tea or coffee in the room. Towels looked they had been around for about 5 years, while clean they were tattered and looked old.
