Quiet(ish) location. Near enough to restaurants but not on top of them. Took us a while to figure out the lights coming up into the unit (and find the apartment in the maze that is Venice), but once we had that settled it worked very well for our family. The best part is the view from the balcony. It is quietly mesmerizing. Stood out there for south time. Even in the middle of the night. Such a pleasant contrast to the hustle and bustle of the grand canal

Be forewarned, the property doesn’t show up well on Google maps. And have your arrival time organized with the owner. I felt terrible about them waiting for us.

Location is phenomenal! The most beautiful canal view from a private balcony to escape the crowds but still take in Venice. What more can you ask for? Host was able to check us in efficiently and gave us helpful info for getting to airport.

Pillows were a bit big for our taste (but we have sensitive necks so may not be a deal breaker for others)

The grumpy owner and the lack of proper information regarding the price. I paid £633 for 4 nights for the apartment. But this price doesnt include another bed being made up or the cleaning !!! So i paid an extra €30 for the double bed, 30€ for the cleaning and €80 for arriving between 22:00 - 23:00 hrs, so all in all i paid 773€ for the 4 nights. I found the pricing very confusing and i didnt want to sleep in a single bed, so i was charged for wanting a double bed. Also, although its 3 bed, you have to go through the second bedroom to get to the third bedroom, and both of these rooms are extremely small with an uncomfortable mattress. The double bed was good, as was the air conditioning. Plus, our flight was extremely delayed, the owner messaged saying he could only wait until 23:00 hrs, we did make it, but were then charged an extra €80, and i wondered what would have happened if we hadnt made it. Would the owner have just left two females in the middle of Venice, wandering around very late with no where to stay? Surely this is part of the environment when you rent your property out?!

Property was nice, with a 5-15min walk to almost all attractions. The host was quiet communicating with instant replies on all questions.

The stairs to go up, with Bags that was too Much. The check out time is too early at 10.00am.
