Tucked away in the middle of the island but easy walk to the beach. Peaceful and professionally run. Loved my room. Beautifully laid out and lots of nice touches

We stayed here as a part of our honeymoon and had a brilliant time. The pool is big and beautiful and the room with hot tub private and comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Pedal bikes can be hired to make visiting different areas on the island much easier. The location makes it only a short 5-8 minute ride from the sea and seeing the turtles! Food at the on site restaurant was also good, especially breakfast. Thanks for having us team.

When the slider doors on the room are shut a fair sized gap is left around the edges on both side, which does allow for bugs to enter. We would suggest this be looked at to prevent any bites in the night.

In tutto il tour dell’Indonesia se c’è un posto che tornerei è sicuramente United Colors of Gili! Il nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto, nulla che non mi sia piaciuto. Tutto lo staff è sempre gentile e sorridente, ti fanno sentire come a casa e sono disponibili per qualsiasi consiglio, informazione e suggerimento. I migliori host mai avuti!!! La camera poi che dire è veramente uno spettacolo , c’è anche una jacuzzi privata , asciugamani sempre puliti e profumati , camera con pulizia impeccabile e ti forniscono anche i teli per il mare. Il mare è praticamente a 5 minuti a piedi davvero vicinissimo, il tragitto di sera è buio quindi consiglio una torcia. Anche la colazione è ottima, tutto buonissimo fatto con amore e ti alzerai da tavola davvero sazio. Noi abbiamo provato anche il ristorante e devo dire che là chef è bravissima, mia goreng e un toast buonissimi! Grazie di tutto ragazzi, ci avete fatto sentire a casa, ci avete coccolato e parleremo a tutti benissimo di voi ! Ci rivedremo presto

The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious, but I wasn't crazy about the coffee. The plunge pools were a nice feature and were very clean. The location is very central and walkable to everything.

The low rating is because they were doing renovations and repairs while I was there, using a lot of very smelly varnish. The second day I was there, they worked on the eating area, so no table service. The third day, I tried to sit by the pool, but they were working on one of the cottages beside it, and the smell was overwhelming. One day I was sitting outside and they started on the cottage next to me. Varnish fumes are nasty and give me a vicious headache, so I had to go inside or leave. Even after they were finished for the day, the smell lingered. Two of the evenings, they had no cook to make dinner. The staff offered to order us takeout but that is never the same. The last full day I was there, they were cutting down tree limbs, so there was a lot of loud chopping and other noises. The neighboring houses were burning garbage, including plastic, which added to the already bad smell. I've worked in the hotel industry for years, I know that you need to take advantage of slower times to do repairs. However, if it's something that is going to interfere with the guests, you either block off the rooms in sections or shut down for a few days and get all the work done with no guests there. I talked to another person there, and they were bothered by the same issues.
