The location is great to access MG and surrounding areas into Holland
Having to pay for the car park is a real negative. We stayed last year and didn’t pay. We will take this into consideration when booking future trips

It was a last minute booking. Bedroom space was enough, the bathtub was nice.

Comfortable play to stay after a long time on the road. The bed was comfortable and the bar was fantastic. Very pleasant guy running the bar and great beer on tap as well as good food. It looked like they were building a park/walk area directly across the road which would be nice in the summer.
It seems to be very dated. It needs renovating to bring it into the 2020s because it is stuck in the 90s with the furniture. I've stayed in modern and cheaper hotels in Germany.

The mistake in the payment. They get 2 times the payment on my card.
In the next time, I never book the hotel which the guarantee by card on your website because the hotels can take my money like they want.

The parking is good but beware you are charged 10 euros extra for it.
We did not take breakfast as it is expensive.

I've visited a couple of Leonardo hotels and the experience so far has been good. It is a very good value for money.
Some rooms have a fridge others they don't, it's impossible to know in advance. Despite I would rate the room as clean, there were a couple of things that weren't, like this decorative fabric that covers part of the bed.

Plenty of parking at an additional cost. Short walk into Monchengladbach. Good size of room with plenty of storage. Hand basin and shower wash provided. Fridge for water/wine in room. Sitting area with coffee table.
Very small bath towels. Tea and coffee provided very cheap and nasty with only two of each provided with powdered milk sachets, even putting two mild sachets in one coffee didn't make it milky. No in room information on hotel facilities and timings. Bar never opens and restaurant only used for breakfast, no mid day or evening openings.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was great.
Staff could have been more informative on check in I.e. giving us check out times, information on breakfast etc. Pillows were awful and found rubbish under the bed

Personal was not very welcoming.
The double bed for the kids was a fold out couch which would have been horrible for adults.
Nice we could bring our dog.
All in all fine stay.

Large room, cleanliness, large desk and good bathroom.
Dated, could use a refurbishment, rooms too warm, air conditioning would not send cold air, so we were forced to sleep with window open.
