Hotel Hamlet

Very nice staff, good breakfast, nice room.

Not the hotel's fault but there was construction everywhere and I wish we had been warned. We couldn't find the hotel because all the surrounding streets were closed. When we finally found it visually, there was nowhere to park to get our luggage to the hotel. The sidewalks were mostly closed as well. If you know the city, I suppose you know the back streets (but then you wouldn't need a hotel, would you?) It was just a very big mess of construction that I wish we had known about. On the other hand, the manager was great and helpful.

Abbiamo soggiornato all’Hotel Hamlet di Helsingør durante un viaggio di lavoro e l’esperienza è stata davvero ottima. L’hotel è accogliente, in una posizione comodissima e perfetto per vivere la città, ma ciò che ha fatto davvero la differenza è stata la disponibilità dello staff. La posizione è meravigliosa, centralissima e comodissima per vivere la città, muoversi a piedi e godersi l’atmosfera di Helsingør. La colazione è stata eccezionale, ricca, varia e davvero piacevole, uno di quei dettagli che al mattino fanno partire la giornata nel modo giusto. Un ringraziamento speciale a Dennis, che è stato semplicemente eccezionale: sempre disponibile, gentilissimo, sorridente e pronto ad aiutarci in ogni momento, anche nelle piccole necessità organizzative. Quando si viaggia in gruppo e per lavoro, trovare una persona così attenta e collaborativa cambia completamente l’esperienza. Ci siamo sentiti accolti e seguiti con grande cura. Grazie davvero a Dennis e a tutto il team dell’Hotel Hamlet per l’ospitalità. Assolutamente consigliato, e torneremmo molto volentieri!

Good location

It was unfortunate that they were works going on just outside the hotel

Proximity to station and ferry and everything. Staff was kind. Tea selection is nice.

Really old rooms with only a surface fix up. Could hear everything from room above us and was very cramped. Construction on street made it hard to enter and wasn’t informed until arrival day. Shower is odd configuration, messy and bath needs a fan. Overpriced for what you get and I do not recommend unless it’s your only option. Next time we would stay across water somewhere in Helsingborg, Sweden or south closer to Copenhagen.
