The Gasthaus is located a bit further away from the lake (you'll need to hike for 20 minutes) but immediately around the corner from the train station, so it may be a perfect choice for those traveling by train.
Friendly and hospitable owners. My single room was exactly as I expected it—nothing fancy, quite minimalist, but cozy.
The most atmospheric, though, is the restaurant/Biergarten where you can spend a pleasant evening in good company under century-old linden trees.
Also breakfast is served here, and it's included in price!
It is quite pricey, even off season.

An excellent family run guest house, very near to the train station and Lake Starnberg. Beautiful large, bright rooms. The terrace restaurant was very good for dinner and there is a cosy traditional bar.
It was all good.

Really only hotel in Feldafing.
Late check-in of 4 PM. NO ONE THERE BEFORE 4. NO ELEVATOR. HAD TO LUG MY BAGS UP TWO FLIGHTS OF STEEP STAIRS. No coffee or refrigerator in room. No shampoo or Conditioner. All in one wash soap. Breakfast was good, except no fried eggs, only boiled.
Restaurant has limited and expensive menu.

"Tutto perfetto!
