Good location, very quiet. Right on the Valnontey River path, nice views of mountains. We were there mid-September and little in Valnontey, let alone nearby Cogne seemed to be open.
Would have been nice to have some cold water in the fridge upon arrival. Needs some updating and a bit of clearing out. That is the "child's" style comforter and big red throw pillows look old and "feel" dirty. Even though we were greeted, no Wifi information. Had to message for wifi info, received password only. We were there mid-September and little in Valnontey, let alone nearby Cogne seemed to be open. The room was a bit dark and dreary. Certainly not warm and inviting.

The property is possibly in the best position for walks in the Gran Paradiso National Park. It is right in the park, at the base point for walks of all difficulties, from tourist to expert climber, and the owners also run a bar that can prepare sandwiches to take away on the walk or to eat there. The view is spectacular, onto the glaciers of the Gran Paradiso. The village of Cogne is at a 20-30 minute walk distance over a very pleasant footpath or a 5-minute drive.
Some minor inaccuracies were present in the description - which were understatements and, if corrtected, would actually have made the property look better! In other words, we found the property better than described (an odd situation...). We have advised the owners, who were unaware, and they advised they would be amending it immediately.

La struttura è posta in una discreta posizione alla base dell'ultimo tratto di pista da fondo.
La presenza nelle camere di travi oblique a sostegno del tetto è un limite da considerare.
La scala d'accesso esterna non è sufficientemente illuminate determinando pericoli d'inciampo.
