Great location , unit could use some freshening up but still comfortable , a/c was probably on its last leg per the maintenance people at the resort , excellent value for the money and would definitely rent again

We were very comfortable at Len's condo. Parking was secure, great view, nice area to walk, plenty of restaurants, easy to make calls via wifi.... Hope to stay here next year.

Will definitely rent this condo again. Great location and great view. Clean and has everything you need.

Very relaxing

We had a fabulous time in our unit. It was exactly as described and the owner was extremely communicative and helpful. The view from the balcony was postcard worthy. The proximity to a grocery, night life, the casino, and a wide variety of dining was excellent. It was a four minute walk to the beach and there was secure parking on site for five dollars a day. The internet connection was wonderful and worked throughout the resort. There is laundry on site and elevators throughout the building if you don’t feel like walking stairs. Overall the resort was clean, secure, affordable, convenient, and very friendly. Five stars, would recommend.

Good location easy access to school and shopping for supplies. Need car or taxi for shopping at larger stores for supplies. Apartment had everything you need and clean.

We arrived just 2 days before everything changed overnight due to the Corona virus. Our 31st wedding anniversary trip was nothing like we had planned. We were happy with our accommodations, the pool, the grocery store in the bottom of the condo unit and watching the airplanes land and take off over Mayo beach...BUT that all came to a screaching stop as everything shut down. The Prime Minister announced the airport would be closing to ALL flights from/to the USA. We were forced to leave 2 days earlier than scheduled and spent the whole day at the airport trying to get on ANY flight off the island. It was a nightmare!! Sadly we have not been able to recoup any overpayment thru VRBO, from Len or through the trip interruption insurance on our credit card. A pandemic is not covered and we understand everyone's position but it is hard that we took the loss. $$$ We truly hope someday to return to St Maarten and have a "Do over" minus Civic 19. We definitely will look into staying at Lens property again and highly recommend it.

Condo was immaculate and so pretty, tastefully decorated. Len the owner was a joy to do business with. View was amazing, We enjoyed watching the planes land from the balcony. The pool was beautiful as well. Easy to get around the island from the condo. Local buses stopped right at Royal Islander. Grocery store right next to the resort where you can get everything you need.

My husband and I rented this condo and had a wonderful stay! The condo was very clean, was in a great location and the balcony offered beautiful views of the ocean! Owners answered all questions promptly and were great to deal with. We hope to rent the condo again if it is available for our next visit!

I stayed two weeks in this beautiful, spacious condo and will definitely be back. The view from the balcony is absolutely wonderful - the ocean, the pool, the garden and the airplanes landing! A lot of GREAT pictures opportunities! The condo has everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Once the doors are shut, it is very quiet inside. The bed is very comfortable as well. Very nice TV and stereo system.The kitchen is well equipped and the grocery store downstairs is very convenient. Communication with the owner was prompt and efficient. Thank you Len! I had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon.

We were for a week in the apartment in August with our 2 children. This made our holiday to a perfect relaxing stay. The contact with the owner via email is very good, he replies quickly and friendly. The view of the apartment is even more spectacular than the picture shows. The facilities are perfect. The apartment is very complete, everything is there to cook on your own and the dishwasher will do the rest. All staff is very friendly. The supermarket downstairs is also very good. Even a buffet is available, from breakfast to diner. We bought fresh baguette every morning and also often croissants. The sandwiches tuna were delicious, easy to take to the beach, fresh every day. The bus was waiting in front of the hotel to bring us to Philipsburg, this was like a taxi with a bus-rate. We also visited Simpson Bay with the bus several times. There is a lot to do there. And the ice-creams of the Carousel (with a real carousel) are very nice. Mullet-bay is on a walkable distance. A very nice beach. We will certainly come back, no doubt about that!

The apartment was very nice. Very clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The appliances were good and there was everything we needed and more. The listing description was very accurate regarding the location and amenities. The owner provided excellent customer services. Having the use of the facilities at The Sonesta Hotel accross the road was very nice, with beautiful grounds and swimming pools. The view from the balcony of the apartment is interesting as it is in close proximity to the end of the airport runway. Watching the planes arriving and departing, when sometimes people are blown off the beach with a blast of sand. The pool is lovely but can be a bit noisy when the planes are taking off. You don't here the noise inside the apartment when the doors are kept shut. In general the location is good for getting to other areas either by bus or car. There are some very good restaurants within walking distance. Our favourites were Bamboo Bernies, Le Moulin Fou and Cheri's which had very good entertainment. The Casino is right next door and it is fun to just watch at the tables if you are not a gambler. There are two bars on the beach one being the Driftwood which is a friendly place for a beer or two. Marigot was nice for a visit. There you can take the high speed ferry boat to Anguilla. Other boat trips can be arranged to Saba, St Barths, St Kitts & Nevis. Altogether a very enjoyable holiday.

We appreciate a lot our stay in the condo who is spacious, clean, with all we need, as at home. La terrasse is close of beaches, chops, restaurants, casinos and the airport. We get out of car. There are many taxis ans bus. The staff is very likeable and the owners, Sip and Len welcome their guests friendly. If you don't speak well English as we, Sip speak French.

This is a very nice appartment: big, clean and lots of facilities (kingsize bed, Sony flatscreen tv's, Bose surround set, full kitchen with dishwasher, etc). There is a big private pool and jacuzzi but you can also use all the facilities of Maho resort at the other side of the road (pools, beach, gym etc). We liked the great towelservice, you can change them whenever you like. The laundry facility and parking garage are available to guests and safe/clean. The view from the appartment is amazing! Beaches, planes, pool, sun but no noise at all on the inside. The location is perfect, very close to the best beaches, casino's, restaurants, clubs etc. Every guest gets to spend 10 dollar each night in the Casino Royal for free (ask for it at the reception). Advise: go every night, we earned around 170 dollar in 10 nights :) Len and Sip are very friendly and know all the best places on the island. I can recommend this to everyone, you will have a lovely vacation.

Want to thank Len/Sip Swierstra for having us use their Condo. The unit was a spacious 1 Bedroom and overlooked the Caribbean.The pool area was a very quiet area, even with the airport nearby, which we enjoyed. Check-in was handled without problems.They make you feel as if you are home with all the personal touches they have added. Plenty of shops, restaurants and a Casino all within walking distance. We will definitely stay again, if they will have us !!

I stayed in St Maarten a couple of times and I certainly think this apartment is the best place to spend your holiday on the island. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. And next to that, it has spectacular views. It was an amazing experience to see the airplanes arrive at the airport from our balcony. And inside the apartment, you didn't here anything. The Mao beach area is one of the great places of St Maarten. Within a walking distance you find several beaches, a supermarket and lots of restaurants and bars. Another great thing was the parking facility underneath the apartment. We will certainly come back to this apartment next year!

We stayed at Len's condo and we will rent it again. It is clean, comfortable, and convenient place. We have been to St. Maarten many times and we go every year. We have stayed at Sonesta hotel in the past but this was first time staying at Condo. We like being in condo because it has additional room and access to kitchen and we can access Sonesta's pool etc. Condo has almost everything and very nice TVs along with nice Bose stereo. We had minor issue with lock. Security and service desk were able to resolve it next morning. Thanks Len for having your condo for a week. We stayed during the week of Christmas. Owners provided nice documents regarding the place and details about facilities available. Access to restaurants is easy and Simpson Bay is only five min drive. Len and her husband are very friendly and easy to converse with. Tony

Sun, sand, sea and palm trees are the view from the roomy deck of this lovely 1 bedroom condo in Maho. Within minutes of landing at the airport you can be on the beach. The pools at La Terrasse and Sonesta are inviting. The condo is comfortable, spacious and clean. The kitchen is well stock with supplies for dining in if you so choose. The grocery store is minutes away to stock up on snacks for your trips to the pool and beaches. There are many fabulous restaurants in the area within walking distance. Try Pizza Pasta and Fuzion. The owner is wonderful to deal with, responding to all of our questions and returning our deposit very quickly. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home. We had a fabulous time!
