It’s a little bit old and smells like smoke but the people working there are nice and it’s cleaned very regularly. I think it was a first good place to start my trip.

Le personnel qui fait de son mieux. Vieux mais propre. Au cœur du Vieux Caire. Si vous recherchez une place a quelques minutes de marche des principales attractions du quartier et en même temps au cœur d'un vrai quartier Egyptien, assez loin des touristes ;-)
Les meubles sont plus que basics. Les lits pas très confortables, sont en plus bruyants. Vous réveillez votre voisin a chaque fois que vous bougez dans votre lit! Problèmes récurant d'eau chaude (quand ce n'est pas la température, c'est le débit!) Aucun WIFI disponible malgré ce qui est annoncé !!!on a demande en vain des couvertures supplémentaires . Il faisait froid la nuit

Good value for money. Easy access to Metro and Busses.
In my opinion Attaba is not an ideal spot for exploring the city. Almost no food options and noisy because of the oriental market. That has of course nothing to do with the city hostel.

Friendly staff who was cheerful and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable.
Location wasn't the best because of the busy market surrounding the accommodation. Also didn't feel like much of a hostel because there was no common room.

The price.
The location is a really big problem. No taxi driver seemed able to find it, and getting a taxi ro the train station was a real hassle. We almost missed our train. Not really a downtown location as advertised. If you don't speak Arabic, you definitely will struggle, as we did. Staff are very friendly but otherwise, there is not much to recommend about the place.

Kind and helpful staff, great location, simple breakfast, but good value for that money.
Busy area at night as well, not the most comfortable beds and pillows, but ok.

Infraestructura vieja.
El recepcionista no habla inglés y ni hacen el mínimo intento para entenderte.
El cuarto desprendía un olor a humedad muy fuerte.
El aire acondicionado no funcionaba.
La ducha estaba rota. Prácticamente era un tubo colgado con un cable que al abrir tiraba agua por todo lados.
El Wi-Fi funcionaba pésimo, cortes de conexión cada momento.
La zona no es la mejor.

Place well situated, AC working well and very quiet
This is not an hostel but a hotel, there is no common space. The receptionists got into an argument at our arrival, screaming for 10 min in front of us and in our ears. There is no proper shower

As usual, I always come back to stay at this same hotel. The manager and all the staff are very nice and helpful. They remembered me, which made me feel very safe and comfortable here. Even when I bumped into the precious hotel staff Carlos he also willing to helped. If I want to go somewhere and don't know the directions, they always take me there. I feel very grateful to found this hotel.

Good location but downtown is noisy 24/7. Bring ear plugs. Nice personnel in the reception.

Staff members were exceptionally helpful and breakfast was fantastic. the rooms were large and best of all was the location. next to the city metro and a good bus company for long distances ‘on time buses’.
