Hotel Alpenflora

We stayed in a room with a terrace and the views were incredible. Room was much bigger than it looked in the pictures and was very modern. All staff were very attentive and friendly. There are so many small touches that made this stay so amazing - we were in the dolomites for hiking and the hotel provided maps. At breakfast there is a option for buffet cold meats, fruit etc, barista drinks and cook to order selection of eggs. The tables had our room number and names on which was a lovely personal touch. Between 1.30-5pm everyday there is a buffet snacks available included in your stay, and Between 1.30-3 fresh pasta everyday. This was so appreciated after a few long hikes! One night there was wine tasting Between 7-8pm too - we really felt welcomed with so many points in the day to bring guests together. The meals at night are fantastic quality with traditional or Mediterranean options, 4 courses with great wines. The hotel itself is a mix of ski chalet vs modern spa feel and the views are incredible. Its a 15-20 min walk into castelrotto. The hotel was super dog friendly and although we understandably couldn't take him inside the restaurant, he could sit on our terrace and the outside bar area. This made our stay much more enjoyable. Parking was underground and had EV charging that was easy to use.

Perhaps the terrace rooms could have the hedging all the way to the end to make it more private but other than that we really loved our stay.

King room with garden terrace - beautiful room. Excellent bed. Outlook wonderful Outdoor pool superb. Gym good. Food excellent.

The dining room - always far too hot and the owners did not like windows being opened. No ambience at all in the dining areas. Needs music and better lighting. No iron in room - and they charge to iron items. For £350/night I’d expect it to be free. Amenities in room very basic - only a shampoo/shower gel, no conditioner. No coffee machine, just a kettle. No fresh milk or cartons in room. Air Con cannot be selected below 20C.

ottima posizione, ottima colazione, bella piscina

purtroppo ci hanno segnato una camera affacciata su una strada molto trafficata, rumorosa dalle 5 di mattina alle 23, senza vista sulle splendide montagne. Anche alcune mosche erano fastidiose.....
