7 / 10Buono·set 2026
Per quanto la struttura risulti poco curata, la gestione, il personale, le pulizie, la colazione, equilibrano e alla fine il soggiorno resta assolutamente soddisfacente.
Ci vorrebbe una ristrutturazione

The reception staff are very professional, motivated and efficient. They speak excellent English, are always available and are genuinely good at solving problems.
I stayed in a junior suite consisting of two separate rooms, which provided plenty of space. Everything met international standards, without unnecessary luxury. The breakfast offered an adequately varied selection, and the room had a beautiful view of the Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, which is well worth visiting. The morning bells can be taken with a smile—as a rather effective wake-up call, although the bell-tower clock runs about fifteen minutes late.
Considering the wide range of accommodation available in Athens, this hotel offers a good location and overall value without being expensive.
Even frequent visitors to Athens might easily overlook this hotel. It is less conspicuous than many others along this central street, but the more visible options are not necessarily better.
A few minor maintenance issues also need attention.
The small square in front of the hotel, as well as some of the streets west of Omonia Square, show clear signs of social hardship. I did not encounter aggressive behaviour or harassment, but the surrounding area reflects the social problems now found in many European capitals.

Kindness and hospitality were really striking. The building of the hotel is historical one and it is always a privilege to be accommodated in such places.
The neighbourhood is not very tempting, altough there is a lot of police around you don't feel encouraged to walk around alone, especially at night and especially women

Interesting old elevator, wonderful selection for buffet breakfast (early is best), artisan decor.
Needs a bit of minor repairs.
