The location was very good- very close to everything. The lady taking care of the property was very nice and friendly and prompt at resolving any issues. We booked this because it had two bathrooms and two separate rooms and a washing machine.

There were a few issues but host promptly resolved them.

Casa Taormina exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Taormina, with all the main attractions, restaurants, and shops within easy walking distance. The apartment is clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were extremely friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, always replying quickly whenever we had a question. Overall, this was one of the best places we have stayed, and we would happily recommend Casa Taormina to anyone who is comfortable with stairs.

The only drawback is the internal staircase. The apartment is spread over three levels, connected by narrow spiral stairs. Moving between the floors can be quite challenging, especially for elderly guests, young children, or anyone with mobility issues. Carrying luggage up and down these stairs is particularly difficult, so it’s definitely something to consider before booking. Another minor point is that the mattresses are quite firm, which may not be comfortable for everyone.

Great location and well equiped house exactly as advertised. Paola met us for check in and was very helpful with recommendations etc. Enjoyed the 2 terraces on top floor for end of day drink and relax. Car ( fiat panda) able to go in garage with some masterful parking!

Nothing

Great location and a lovely quiet atmosphere. Paola was very supportive and responsive throughout our stay. We really appreciated the thoughtful extras such as water, milk, and coffee on arrival. The air conditioning in each room worked well and made a big difference in the warmer weather. The veranda was a nice space to have, and having washing facilities and laundry liquids provided was very useful for a longer stay. Two bathrooms also worked really well for three people.

The WiFi was quite slow during our stay. The beds were rather hard, which may not suit everyone. The pillows could also do with an upgrade to something a bit more substantial. Paola was very helpful in providing an alternative set of pillows for us, but they went from being extremely soft to very firm, so something in between would probably suit most guests better. The layout across three floors made it difficult for three people to spend time together comfortably, as there was limited sitting space. Extending the kitchen area into the back veranda could improve the living space significantly. The spiral staircase would be challenging for anyone with reduced mobility. In the larger bedroom, the plug socket on the left-hand side of the bed was difficult to use because my travel adaptor hit the wooden shelving unit. It would also be a good improvement to upgrade the TV to a smart TV so guests can log into their own streaming services. The apartment in general, particularly the bathrooms, could benefit from a little TLC in places, although this was only a fairly minor point overall.
