We had a wonderful stay. Casa Ermelinda was perfect. Had everything you need, it was quiet and comfortable and clean.

The stairs are a bit of a challenge when you are not fit.

The location was very central. Raffaele, the host was exceptional even before we checked in with advice and tips. The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. We had an awesome time here and will recommend this place and Raffaele to all our friends and family.

This great apartment is at a 3-4 min walk from the Amalfi port and has about 50 stairs (no lift) to reach to the apartment (nothing compared to rest of Amalfi and Positano stays that have 100-200 stairs). It’s location is the biggest advantage as you get to stay in the heart of the place. The owner, Rafelle received us at the port and also gave us a hand with the luggage. The hall has a partial sea view and a street view. The apartment comes with all amenities needed for a short/long stay including wi-fi, air conditioning (in the hall), washing machine, a smart TV with OTT logins, books and games, fully equipped kitchen with basic cooking essentials. There is a super market and eating joints right below the apartment. The main square and the market is a 1 min walk. Rafelle gave us great recommendations for things to do on our 4 day stay and also recommended a spa in Minori (Ottium Spa) when we asked for one, which turned out to be great. It is a great value for money and we will definitely love to stay here again!!

Amazing apartment and much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Couldn't have asked for a better location and exceptionally clean. Rafael was wonderful and incredibly responsive. He met us at the port and basically gave us an itinerary for our stay. He also left us refreshments, and if we needed help with anything was very quickly available on What's App. Thanks for everything.

Complete with household facilities, very clean with free drinks including wine. The host met us at the pier and we walked to his property only 4min away. We'll definitely recommend this place.

We had an awesome experience in staying at Casa Ermelinda. Its location exceeded our expectations, as it was just a 5 minute walk from the Ferry port and only requires a small handful of steps to get from the Ferry over to the apartment building. Travelers who must completely avoid steps should be aware that the apartment is located on the third floor of a building dating back to medieval times, so there is some climbing required (57 steps to be exact), to get into the apartment once entering the building. It is very centrally located in Amalfi, but also in a very quiet location with a balcony view that looks over a small commercial plaza (of several restaurants and even includes a small supermarket). The balcony view (overlooking the plaza and also a partial sea view) is a pleasant bonus. As the photos show, the one bedroom apartment is quite expansive, appearing even larger in person. The host, Raffaele, was super gracious and informative, as he met us with the keys upon our arrival at the Ferry port, and also assisted taking our bags up to the apartment. Raffaele introduced us to our apartment and walked us through all of the amenities, and also introduced us to some nice nearby dining opportunities. The apartment kitchen was well stocked with essentials, and any food / drink items can be purchased from two local supermarkets located less than a 10 minute walk away. The apartment was also very clean, and the queen size bed very comfortable. Raffaele explained how the bedroom had to be designed around the original building design, so it does need a bit of maneuvering to get onto the platform bed. Without a doubt, our 5 night stay at Casa Ermelinda made for a very homey, relaxing, and pleasant vacation in Amalfi.
