Il Nibbio Reale Country House

Breakfast was great. Variety was traditional with Italian breakfast. Espresso every morning. We came back late every night and they always were available to open the gate. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was refreshing. So very clean. It was extremely convenient for us to get to our relatives houses that were close by. Laura and Giovanni and their family were wonderful hosts.

The beds are a little hard. This is normal in many places like this. Extra blankets would be nice. It was very hot so we understood why there none and we did not request any but controlling the air conditioning correctly helped us get through. These are minor issues that we never asked for anything. I am sure they would have accommodated us if need be.

Lovely country house in beautiful grounds with the added bonus of the swimming pool. Owners went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. Even coming to our rescue when we were lost on the way. Such a friendly welcome. Breakfast was also excellent.

This is a lovely place in the middle of nowhere but near Motorway and Cassino in car. It really is isolated. Laura and family are very helpful and her English is very good. The family live in Napoli but have this place which could be a farm but isn't. They grow a lot of their own vegetables. There is a very nice pool which is probably the highlight. Rooms are traditional simple and dark so cool. Aircon too. If you ask nicely and give notice I think an evening meal may be available but this is NOT their routine. Breakfast is good. The pool is open to local people but none came whie I was there.

Their main thing is functions and catering for those so it is set up for that. The big terrace where you eat and live is boxed in with sliding pvc doors so it might feel a bit like eating in a tent. However this is a small downside but worth bearing in mind if aesthetics is your thing!

A superb place in a lovely quiet position. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners who were more than helpful.
