Casa Quiroga

Casa Quiroga is a truly beautiful place! We had a private room, the best so far on the Camino, and one of the least expensive. Everything was the perfect blend of new and old - old warm charm, but a new, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Good attention to detail, both aesthetically and practically for what pilgrims need for a stay in their remote casa. We arrived at 11am and we were able to get into our room, and had a lovely most-of-the-day rest day. There's nothing else to the town except beautiful rolling hills for the view, so we hung out on the patio, in the garden, and enjoying the bar, which was well-appointed. We had a small lunch and menu del dia for dinner, both were very good.

The hosts are great and we had a wonderful time. Very peaceful there and great seating outside with a beautiful view. Food was great too.

The location was quiet, clean and the staff was friendly.

the staff were hostile . clearly hated “perro gringos”. trash talked pilgrims in spanish not knowing that some of us understand espanol more than we let on. place was a dump with dead cockroaches and the smell of heavy perfume in the room . wouldn’t stay here it was worth 2 euros . move on and walk the extra 10 k
