Booked at short notice for myself and adult children (21 & 18yr old) to meet up with friends. Central location. Rooms were much larger than photos suggest. Separate kitchen & lounge so we actually used the lounge as a third bedroom. Is actually a duplex as double bedroom is up a flight of stairs. Youngsters loved it, so good value for money. We’ll book again if available on our next visit.
Few things possibly not mentioned in the listing: lots of steep steps & stairs; some feather duvets & pillows (not great for allergies but I could open the window in the single bedroom); on a main road so some traffic noise. Could’ve done with a 2nd key as we were a party of 4 adults. None of these were deal breakers for us but handy to know in advance.

The location was excellent, was originally concerned by some of the reviews mentioning a lot of stairs but honestly the amount of stairs was less than expected and not a problem at all. The size of the property was nice and the owner was great dealing with problem. The TV didn’t work so she purchased a new one the next day which was greatly appreciated.
Overall the apartment was clean however the pots/ cutlery were not and had to be rewashed before use.

Location was great, we were visiting family in the area and we love Buxton.
The exterior steps to the flat were steep and slippery when wet. The outside door did not close properly.
There were no on/off switches on any of the electrical power points.
There were only two bath towels and a single small hand towel in the bathroom.
There were no tea towels and very limited cutlery.
The fridge was tiny, the microwave was rusty and the door often did not close properly.
Dirty grill tray in the oven.
The kitchen window would benefit from a blind or curtain.
The small bedroom window had no lock and was draughty.
