Very nicely decorated room, and pleasantly cooled in the warm weather. Breakfast included was a nice touch and tasty. The restaurant across and down the road was excellent.
The room was a bit dark. One wall was glass, and looked out onto an office, so the curtains have to be closed at certain moments. A bit of a pity no exterior windows.

Great room, the staff was exceptional!
We had to fight with the young ladies to not carry our luggage!
The breakfast was great.
Great location, centrally located.
Our own in house coffee roaster!
Highly recommend!
Absolutely no complaints!

I never stated preference for a quiet room. I don’t know where you got that from. I never said that or asked for it. I go there I know what I get.
Dumb questions

There was a problem with Author Guesthouse. The elevator was not working so there was no way to get to our room. The host graciously booked us at a nearby hotel, but it wasn't nearly as nice
