The host went above and boyond for us. The breakfast was incredible with the homemade sourdough, eggs, crepes and fresh fruit salad! Highly reccomend
The location was perfect for us as there was zero noise pollution and beautiful tropical gardens. Large bungalow with lots of privacy. Restaurants and grocery store in short walking distance. Beach is 5 min away.

We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Shantitara Bungalows in Sanur. The bungalow was lovely, clean and comfortable, and everything was beautifully looked after.
Mario, our host, and his daughter Shanti were absolutely wonderful so welcoming, friendly and accommodating, and they really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, and their hospitality made us feel very welcome. Thank you Mario and Shanti for making our stay so special.
The only downside for us was that the location was a little out of walking distance from most of the main areas and attractions. However, Gojek was incredibly cheap and easy to use, so getting around was never a problem.

The pool was so lovely. We used it a lot and the pool area was really nice.
It was super quiet.
It had a traditional feel.
Lovely animal life in and around the property.
It was great to have our laundry done on the property.
Shanti and the sweet cleaning lady were helpful and nice.
The location was far from the beach and down a busy laneway.
The bed was very hard and the air conditioning unit was really noisey. The room itself - while traditional was very old and even though we’d arrived two days after our scheduled check in- was not ready for us (even though we had paid). We didn’t even get fresh soap and had to use an old bar that had been left.
I had read rave reviews about the breakfast and for us, it was very average. Considering what we had paid down the road, it was poor value. They even charged us full price for our daughter who ate next to nothing.
This place could do with a good clean up and de clutter.
