We were in Bethel to visit Sunday River over Christmas week and this home exceeded our expectations. Recent record floods meant many of the area businesses were closed and the skiing was very limited, but we had a wonderful stay in this home and didn't mind spending more time staying in. I contacted the owner to check on the area conditions prior to traveling over a thousand miles for our visit and he promptly responded. It is a very short and easy drive into town and to Sunday River. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and being able to do laundry and have a giant mudroom when staying somewhere for a ski week is always a plus with a family and their gear. There is plenty of comfortable seating for dining and lounging in front of the fire or TV. The basement game room provided hours of family entertainment. We picked up some firewood from the Shell station on the way home from the slopes one afternoon so we could enjoy roasting marshmallows and hotdogs in the outdoor firepit in the light snow. The downstairs bathroom does have a tub which can be important if you have smaller children. I really can't think of any negatives. The only very minor suggestion that I can even come up with if forced to do so would be perhaps a step stool for shorties like myself (5 ft 2 in) so I could reach the tops of the tall kitchen cabinets or to the fabric softener on top of the stacked washer dryer but that is being nitpicky. This vacation rental is as perfect as it gets.

My husband and I rented this home to celebrate our 20 year anniversary and would do it again! The house was beautiful and well kept and the views are breathtaking! The owners were easy to get into contact with for a couple of general questions we had. Highly recommend!

This is a great home. So comfy, cozy, and bright. I spent time with my family, kids, and the kids friends. They went snowboarding while we hit up the local spots and then quite quality time enjoying the jacuzzi.
The hosts is AMAZINGLY friendly and informative! Hope to make it up again soon

My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend. We had a great time just relaxing by the fire and Watching movies. We cooked a nice dinner, and enjoyed the lovely views over the balcony. The hot tub is perfect. The master suite has a very comfy bed. We will definitely be back

Off the beaten path
My wife and I were taking our first trip in a few years with just us and this cabin the woods of Maine was the perfect choice to make that happen. The cabin itself had everything needed for settling in and having a great time there, games, great views, the stars at night!!! The cabin was located in a great spot, fairly close to a small town with great grocery options, awesome restaurants, and quick access to tons of hiking and exploring. We cannot recommend this cabin enough for those looking to stay in this area!

Super clean
We stayed at this property for the weekend and it is absolutely gorgeous. The clean is super clean and there are so much things to do around the house, the supermarket is close by, which is a plus. The only downside is I wished to rented longer so we can enjoyed it more!

Excellent place to stay
The property was accurately described in its Write ups. It was warm and welcoming. It had enough amenities to keep all the guests entertained. Adults and children alike had a fantastic stay.
It was close to the center of town and Sunday River. The property was up to date and clean.
The owners were thoughtful enough to provide a manual to help provide guests with any questions that one may have about the property.
They were responsive and available for any questions we may have had.
We will definitely rent this property again.

We utilized everything from the incredible kitchen, hot tub, fireplace, fire pit, pool table, bar, darts, arcade machine and the list goes on. We made memories worth multiple lifetimes. The rooms had plenty of space, comfortable beds and cozy sheets. The intricate details from the owners did not go overlooked. In summary, The views are breathtaking, the cabin is beautiful, and the time spent will never be long enough. We will be returning in the future. Mid-week Getaway
This property was absolutely stunning! Was the exact relaxing vibe we were hoping for. The surround sound music made for epic singing and dancing with the kids. The mountain views and sunrise from the back porch were beautiful. The whole family had a blast! Would love to come back to experience in the winter.
