County house deep into the natural reserve that surrounds the village of Chiusure and the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore. Intimate oasis of relax with private garden and pool located in the heart of Siena's area between Val d'Orcia and Crete Senesi.
The house is surrounded by a private garden of about 2300 sqm fully fenced borders with land ownership 'of the house and includes a wide parking area. The water surface of about 70 square meters (6x12 meters) of the pool mastered on the green grass, flowers and plants all around the house. In this small edge of heaven you can relax on the pool deck enjoying long hours of sunshine and peace, take long baths and countless springboard diving, cool off whenever you want with the outdoor shower, enjoy the coolness of the shady areas among the trees and relax at sunset in the relaxation corners that you will find in the garden. You will also have the opportunity 'to revel in BBQ and to organize unforgettable meals enjoying the cool evening having in the background the extraordinary sounds of the surrounding nature.
The house is on two floors of 100 square meters each, the living area on the ground floor and the bedrooms on the first floor. All rooms have oak-beamed and are fully furnished and equipped with all comforts' cause guests can feel at home, pampered by a friendly and familiar atmosphere.
In the living area on the ground floor there is a large and bright living room with two big sofas gathered around the fireplace and TV corner; a bricks’ archway connects the living room to the fully equipped masonry kitchen characterized in the middle by a beautiful table that can accommodate up to 12 diners. Always on the ground floor one of the three bathrooms with shower and washing machine available to guests.
In the sleeping area on the first floor there are 3 large bedrooms with a double bed (two of them have a third additional single bed and each one could have a little addicional bed for babies) and a fourth bedroom with two single beds that can be converted into a double bed. All rooms are really bright and well ventilated and are fully provisioned. Always on the first floor two bathrooms with entrance from the common hallway, both with windows.
The whole house is equipped with mosquito nets and heating for the winter period, in addition to the fireplace in the livingroom and to the wood stove in the kitchen.
Guest Access

Guests will have exclusive use of the whole house of 200 square meters, of the surrounding garden of about 2300 sqm fully fenced and of the exclusive swimming pool.

The Neighborhood

The house is located in the ideal center of Siena's area, located in one of the few areas that still intact emerges from past centuries. The natural reserve which are immersed in the cottage, the old medieval village of Chiusure and the magnificent monastic complex of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, can give unforgettable emotions at every change of season with its different lights, colours and shadows. From the house you can walk up and briefly explore the ancient streets of Chiusure which has a great terrace in front of its castle where you can have an almost 360 degree view of the Val d'Orcia and the Crete Senesi. Moreover you can get off to Monte Oliveto Maggiore crossing the beautiful badlands that seem to support the village of Chiusure. The visit to the Abbey of Monte Oliveto will surely leave an indelible mark in your memory.
Being in an elevated position, the entire area surrounding the house can be explored on foot along several country roads; it is the ideal place to enjoy breathtaking views and for who's keen about photography.
So many are the routes for lovers of trekking and mountain biking.
The area offers as well several opportunity for those who loves Spa and thermal baths.

Getting Around

To get to the house and to move to the main places to visit, as in almost all the territory, it is essential to have a car.
Being in the ideal center of the province of Siena, the Countryhouse is particularly suitable for those who want to explore all the most prestigious places of the Val d'Orcia, Siena, Crete Senesi and Chianti Classico.
Towards the Val d'Orcia, San Quirico d'Orcia and Montalcino are just 20km far from the house (within 20-25 minutes) and Pienza and Bagno Vignoni 25km far (within less than 30 minutes).
Buonconvento, Rapolano Terme and the whole territory of the Crete Senesi surround the Country house nearby.
Siena is only 32km far and can be reached by car in about 40 minutes. Alternatively you can also reach Siena by train or bus leaving from Asciano or from Buonconvento.
Castelnuovo Berardenga is only 30km far and all the main goals of Chianti Classico are really very close to the house and can be visited in one day trip.
Finally, the house is about 12 km far from the highway Florence-Siena-Perugia-Bettolle. Going through this rapid communication route to Florence, for example, you can reach San Gimignano in about 1 hour, or Florence in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. On the opposite side of the highway it takes quite 40 minutes to get to Lake Trasimeno, about 1 hour to Perugia and just 15 minutes more to Assisi.
Instead, If you are keen about sea you can reach the coast in about 1 hour: Castiglione della Pescaia, Marina di Grosseto and the Maremma Natural Park are all about 90km far from the house.

Other Things to Note

The house’s rental is just for touristic use.
From June to September the minimum stay is generally of one week, from Saturday to Saturday. During the rest of the year the minimum stay is of 5 nights. For different periods just contact and ask the hosts.
