The quiet spot the cottage is in. The character of the cottage and lovely little welcome pack
It’s a lovely cottage, may just benefit from a lick of paint in some places from weathering and wear and tear

spacious. great location. warm property with good, generous welcome gifts and plenty of firewood. responsive owners to our request for tea towels. very friendly.
the kitchen facilities were a bit tired. the cooker had lost numbers around the controls and with no instructions it was tricky to cook. the grill pan was warn and a bit rusty but no foil in the kitchen made it difficult to use. it would have been helpful to have matches and firelghters. the beds were all a bit old, creaky and lumpy.

The house was warm and some welcome milk and biscuits were left for us. Bedding was clean. Lovely secluded area.
The property was in need of some general cleaning. It was dusty and the microwave had the inside peeling away, the tap handle was broken in the kitchen, toaster was full of crumbs and underneath it, black around the windows. Okay for what we paid, but wouldn't be happy to pay more in high season, in its present state.
