Calm and relaxing place

Drapes in the cabin, especially in the kitchen and bedrooms, the bathroom floor grout joint was quite dark, should be cleaned better

If you like summer house type of vacation this is a good location to start. Own car is a must unless you are biking. Nice and quiet location.

According to the pictures the asumption was to have a sea view. In this summer house there wasn’t any sea view. AC is not a mandatory but the small window(s) which you are keeping open e.g. over the night would require a mosquito net.

The place was really clean, kitchen well equipped and the yard was huge. The shared sauna was also really good.

The (public) beach next to cottage wasn’t suitable for swimming. Really shallow (ankle deep for 50m or more) and full of vegetation. There are great beaches in Mariehamn and the Degersand beach in Eckerö was superb!

Very nice location close to nature.
