La maison de Concise

Maison de Concise was full of character and history. Our room was very comfortable and had the bonus of a balcony. The very best thing about our stay were the hosts Valerie and Jean Paul who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay and were helpful with suggestions of places to go. They had produced a useful guide to the area, which was in our room, full of recommendations of restaurants in the various towns nearby. When we asked about walks in the area they showed us a book with choices of walks with direction cards to take with us. The breakfasts were varied, plentiful and delicious. I would highly recommend a stay.

Nothing

Nichts auszusetzen

Quite close to centre of Thonon. Comfortable bed

Very hot room with just a fan which wasn’t very effective. No TV anywhere in the property. Toilet was not en-suite. Hand held shower over bath was awkward to use. Breakfast was average but bread obviously not fresh each day. After the first night of our 3 night stay the owners disappeared and we were alone in the property until another lady appeared in the morning to do breakfast. Towels were not changed at all, room not serviced. Very noisy room on main road.
